Thread: Most Do Not Understand What Is Really Happening... Luke 12:2

Deuteronomy 4, just wow, days of messages are in this one chapter.
Verse 2You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

We are in a time where this is happening like wild fire , even the churches fighting and going to court over what God really said... Genesis 3 :1Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Deuteronomy 4
7“For what great nation is there that has God so near to it, as the Lord our God is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him? 8 And what great nation is there that has such statutes and righteous judgments as are in all this law which I set before you this day? 9 Only take heed to yourself, and diligently keep yourself, lest you forget the things your eyes have seen, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life. And teach them to your children and your grandchildren...


Verse 13So He declared to you His covenant which He commanded you to perform, the Ten Commandments; and He wrote them on two tablets of stone.


We where to never look like any other nation. , we have fallen away at a rapid pace. This chapter has to much in it for one post so will continue tomorrow...

God protect everyone. Today is one of the most dangerous days of the year. Its filled with sin. Even more so than other regular days.
I pray that all Christians hold fast to the promises of God and that we all have the strength to keep looking UP in the days we are living in.

For the prayer for marriage. My wife was just like that... On staff at two different churches, running a homeless ministry waiting for herself to turn 30 so should could officially announce / run it. This was four years ago. She did not wait for marriage, and my lust caused her to not wait. All though we were soon married, the guilt she had made her resign from leadership.

But, also, be careful... Please. She prayed for a husband and how amazing he'd be, and at revivals and women's groups they'd all pray how this amazing man would be her husband.

And guess what? It's me. A smoking, drinking, sinner. A bad habit doesn't separate the whites from the darks, why won't I talk about my feelings, human male. I've yelled at my wife, I've slapped her before in arguments, I've laughed when she needed comfort....

I'm flawed. Around 18 months, we had marriage mentors from the church because my wife was crushed. I took away from her all these.... Things that made her, her. She is also very strong willed so it hurt her when people would say, Yes, you were called to do X Y Z, but now that you're married... Is it what your family is called to?

It took another 18 months for us to come into agreement, for me to finally stop pretending to be a believer and actually get baptized, and it still makes me feel uneasy and the topic is brought up.

We are... I don't know how else to say this... The way Pastors have explained to us... We are powerhouses of light. That is why all eyes are on us. Friends, family, the enemy all didn't want us together. Legalese attacks, open doors attack, yet it's because they see Jesus Christ in both of us, in agreement, walking out his word and doing his will. And when we flare up.... A door opens.... They attack.


So just be mindful of whom you pray for.... Because I'm just a man, and hearing a few years ago "I prayed for an amazing husband and he gave me THIS?!" Hurt. It took me a long time to get over that.

She's an amazing mother, an amazing wife... The house is all decorated in Festive Fall yet not for Halloween ;) The baby is spoiled rotten, every need I have she makes sure somehow it's taken care of... And it feels great that we pray together, it feels great knowing my son has a Christian mother. For my part I love her as best I can, praise her, and am extremely lucky she's in my life.

For my Niece and anyone else that needs

From my own home to across the globe there are many suffering medical conditions right now. When I need an answer I go to God and His word. One of the biggest Ministries Jesus did on earth was healing. One of the strongest messages was , He is the healer.
Luke 8:43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any.
Luke was a physician yet we read in Luke , Who the healer was for this women.
Elisha and Elijah God used as well for healing and many others.
Our bodies are created by God , they are His not ours. They will be transformed one day but until then they are Gods in a world that is dying and sick.

There never was anything the world had that heals. He gave us wonderful oils and herbs for minor things. This story reminds us what not to do, 2 Chronicles 16:12 And Asa in the thirty and ninth year of his reign was diseased in his feet, until his disease was exceeding great: yet in his disease he sought not to the LORD, but to the physicians.

I use to fear death and sickness until I got really sick and could not afford a medical care and had only one place to go. I cried to God and said OK Lord this is your body not mine I give it back . I told Him if you want me to suffer , I know You allowed it . I told Him when He wants me to die , I am ready.
He taught me long ago when praying for healing to pray for soul and Spirit first . It is not anything man has made that heals never was ...Our life and death is all about Him. Once we have a real grasp of that, then fear of death loses it sting ,1 Corinthians 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?
If we truly believe in God then we truly believe our bodies are His. If you have never given your body over to God , do it. I do not believe in coincidence and for God to allow me to be married to a person with a disease that has no man made cure is not by chance. Many get mad at God because of these things and that is why praying for soul and Spirit has to be first . Jesus left us with an example of what to cover in prayer.
Matthew 6:9-13
9 In this manner, therefore, pray:
Our Father in heaven,
Hallowed be Your name.
10 Your kingdom come.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
11 Give us this day our daily bread.
12 And forgive us our debts,
As we forgive our debtors.
13 And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen
James 5:15“And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.”
Pray for the faith...
Study how healing was done in Scriptures it is very important. Jesus is our example in healing , look at what He said and did... Terrible disease is in the Scriptures and we have created new ones. God created us, talk to Him , do not let sickness or even facing death have a sting... John 16:33King James
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. Finding that peace in our tribulation is all we strive for...
Many say well God could take away sickenss and that is when we forget what earth is about and what Heaven is about...

Part two of Deuteronomy 4 and 5 can not be more clear on something we have chosen to ignore. I am not sure where and why we got this so wrong even in churches but it is clear on God's instructions.

Deuteronomy4:23 Take heed to yourselves, lest you forget the covenant of the Lord your God which He made with you, and make for yourselves a carved image in the form of anything which the Lord your God has forbidden you. 24 For the Lord your God is a consuming fire, a jealous God. Deuteronomy 5:8 ‘You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 9 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God.

When I was sixteen years old I bought a Madonna of lead crystal and it was a couple of years ago I was convicted to look around my house and see how I was ignoring this clear command.

Any likeness of anything in verse 8 is very clear. I loved that crystal piece and I was surprised how hard it was hard to get rid of, it took me several weeks.
We have lived decades with God is OK with such things. He is not and says so many times. It is interesting how in the beginning of the Bible God gives great detail when He wants something built like the Ark Noah built or the Ark of the Covenant.

God never had them build a statue of Him because He can not be re created , no man has even seen Him. We do not know what Jesus looked like in human form but we recreated him on a guess , we where to never make images of Him.
Man has listened to man so long we do not listen to God. God is very clear on this over and over.

The Apostles did not make a statue of Jesus and we should have not either. In fact they must have really understood God's command because in the Bible written during the times of Jesus this subject is not talk about.
Romans 1: 20For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
John 4:23-24
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

We worship a God that can not be made with human hands, Jesus came in human for to be our way to Him. Do not bow to an image as in Deuteronomy 5:any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; Any is a small word but very important...He knew what He was doing when He made this command.

It was hard to get rid of that graven image I had purchased well over forty years ago, it had a hold on me I did not understand, I love God so I let go ...His word is the only image we should have engraved but engraved on our hearts... Put yourself to the test, see if you have any images that had has power over you that you can not get rid of, see if you associate it with worshiping a God that has not been seen by man or can be made with human hands...
There is nothing in my jewelry box , china cabinet or hanging on my walls going to Heaven with me. You may be surprised as I was , the power of those things in our life ,that should have no place. God has been showing us this of late , if we are listening.

There is little if any description of the homes of the Saints before us , there is a reason for that. It is the Temple inside us that matters. We have clear instructions but the world offers many attractive things.
