Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

I disagree about the "rituals" for 2 reasons.

1. Look at how Judaism was at Jesus' time, and how he railed against the priests etc...
2. Circumcision, and what Peter et al ended up believing.

I recently saw info concerning the number of "gods" who supposedly born on Dec. 25th, so I decided to do a little digging...and couldn't find any proof of the claims.

The Bible says nothing about celebrating birthdays, so IMHO it is a manmade "ritual" / tradition.

As far as Jesus is concerned, I've come to the conclusion that instead of celebrating a nonverified birthdate, we should be thanking the Father for sending Jesus, thanking Jesus for doing the Father's Will, and thanking them BOTH for even considering offering us Grace and Mercy.

And that should be done frequently, if not daily.

I posted thread, you can find it want, and it was how the Laptop I.bought on Black Friday was still a great deal, mid range, laptop bought spur of moment.

Well, the hardware Target.com and HP.com have for this model number is not what's actually in it.

So my ADD kicked in and I wrote a leter explaining it and Faxed it all over Target and HP corporate LOL. I actually do.that a lot... FAX something to corporate... From Cable Bill dispute to FEMA... Something about paper trail.. And you usually get someone high up calling and problems are resolved fast and in your favor... It just works)


Anyhow. Target sent me a gift card (mentioned all the photos we have of my son in that red target cart and explained we're Target loyal.)

They passed the buck off to HP.

HP says: We will send you a BETTER LAPTOP with BETTER SPECIFICATIONS. It's your same model just the "PRO" edition with touch screen and super fast..

And I was just posting in another thread how abundance and God just always provide and how Words have Power.

So Target and HP take down the page for my said model.... I feel as if I protected future consumers getting ripped off... And HP is being Super Nice. (I wonder they are worried they found out this is a wide spread error and want to placate me so nothing legal happens)

So I get to keep the original laptop... And being over nighted is another Laptop... With touch screen and state of art hardware.


I am seriously blessed. God is so so so amazing. And since finding Christ and then posting in this thread.... Good just keeps happening and happening.

Prayer really works... Power of prayer... You guys really are praying! Ha.

I hate religion. I really do. Religion isn't Christ.

Yet even my "everything is Satan" Pentecostal wouldn't let me carve a pumpkin because she knows of it's "black magic origins" wife was gung ho about buying a tree and buying ornaments and decorating house... As I said... Still considered Newly Married... Baby First Christmas... My first Christmas as a baptized true believer...

With our Sunday church and Monday night House of Prayer covered in red and green and Christmas trees....


Even as an agnostic... I think I just read 90%+ of Americans celebrate Christmas..

Merging of family traditions... Starting new ones... Blessed with that grant so we have a real tree... So much family bonding listening to worship or sermons while decorating it...

The Bible says nothing about Birthdays because that's a society thing. Started during Great Depression that turned it into major deal it is Today.

In Spain shops stay open late and close all afternoon... It's a Custom... On St Patrick day Chicago pours green into River... Because it's a Custom.... On 4th of July or Memorial Day you grill... Because it's a Custom.

So long as Jesus is your King and listen to your Holy Spirit putting the LORD first while wearing reindeer antlers at the office party... He's still our God. So regardless what we're doing, so long as our Hearts are heavenly focused and walking out his will...

I'm sure God understands I'm thirsty for his word regardless if I have a tree in my living room, a cake on my birthday, wear a green tie in Early March....

And there's an allure to praying and worshipping in the same manor and method Jesus and his disciples did.

My daughter is in labor again. The pains are sharp and radiating. We are scrambling right now to get someone to watch the other kids, and she is getting prepped to go to the hospital, washing up and packing her bag. Today might be the day ! I have to pick up my grandson from school in less than 2 hours, and I hope the major action doesn't start until I get him from school and we get someone to watch the other kids.
I had a meeting tonight that I already called off from, as I got a feeling grandkid number 7 is going to make his arrival this evening !!! :)

I am back, your prayers helped Alexander Ivanovish Sokolov in Russia pull through and started to eat and walk again.
Now tommorow they will be testing him for the cancer.
You have helped him so much now I ask to help him again he is a very kind hard working man who never complains.

I am here at Community Hospital in Munster, Indiana with my daughter Elizabeth. She went down for a c-section about 20 minutes ago. She was dilated 5 but the doctor was afraid for her to deliver normally as she had a previous c-section. The waiting room here has a computer so I am able to update you all !
I should hear something real soon ! Please keep my daughter and grandson in your prayers !

I will check back with you all later. There is only one computer here in this waiting room, and I want to let others have access too.
