Update: Carol has lost her hair due to treatment and is in a lot of pain, no word yet on the status of breast cancer.

My son is 100% praise God, but I have taken a turn for the worst with a lingering cold and a bad case of laryngitis that has left me unable to talk for 4 days now.

I will update you when my mom goes back to the Dr, I just know that blockage will be GONE!

If y'all could say an extra prayer for me today, not being able to speak is driving me crazy.

I am continually praying for you all even though I don't post, love ya!

Prayers needed.

My daughter is doing so much better.She might get discharged tomorrow. But, even though my new grandson "AJ" seems to be fine, perfect in every way, he has failed 2 hearing tests.I was told his ear canals are smaller than what they should be.The doctor did find a lot of wax in his ears, and cleaned out a lot of it. When they did the 2nd hearing test today, which he failed, more wax came out of his ears. My daughter was given a referral to see a specialist.Please, everyone put "AJ" on your prayer list. I pray it is just a ear wax problem, and he is not deaf. :(

On the way back from the hospital to see my daughter and grandson, my husband and I stopped at the grocery store, and were about 2 miles from our house when I got a call from Life Alert.My mother had fallen in her house again. I called my oldest,as she was at my mothers this morning to help her out, and she had the spare keys to my mothers house. She dropped what she was doing and drove over there immediately.She opened the door for the police and paramedics. I got there a few minutes later, after dumping the groceries and my husband at home as quickly as I could. My mother is OK, but she sure gave everyone a good scare.

Joshua 24 the last chapter and reflection of where they came from . Scriptures always take us back to the beginning. The Bible takes us from the beginning to the end of this planet and then back to a new beginning. One of the most well known verses is found in this chapter.
Joshua 24: 15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord , choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.
Many religions have a death sentence on this earth if you do not follow, there is not choice. God gives choice , He is building a Kingdom of people that chose in this life to serve Him. It is hard for us to imagine Heaven but the Garden is a great example.
To take all that is good , nothing that sticks bites or stings. Nothing that causes pain is what we live to die for...Joshua was 110 , my husband told me they are studying and working on longevity in the science world. I said why on earth would we want to live longer and I loved his answer , he said because they do not believe like you do , they think this is it.
'But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

I want to share a prayer placed on my heart and try to listen to prayers being said then look at how they prayed in Scriptures. God longs for a people that does not love this world and to long for what He wants not what we want.

Dear Heavenly Father , we thank You for Your Holy Words found in Scriptures , we call on 1 John 2:15

When we long for what God wants, we do as Jesus said in” thy will be done. “ Examine prayers right now , are they for what God wants or for what we want? Examine Scriptures how they prayed and what they prayed for ...
