Update.

My daughter and grandson were discharged from the hospital this afternoon, and are home resting. My grandson has an appointment with a pediatrician tomorrow morning, and will see a specialist in 2 weeks.
Please keep the prayers coming, my friends !!!

Judges 1, how fun that a New Year is approaching and I start a new chapter of God's Word. Chapter 1 reminds us why Jesus was born and died for us. We went from Joshua 23: 11 Therefore take careful heed to yourselves, that you love the Lord your God. 12 Or else, if indeed you do go back, and cling to the remnant of these nations—these that remain among you—and make marriages with them, and go in to them and they to you, 13 know for certain that the Lords your God will no longer drive out these nations from before you. But they shall be snares and traps to you, and scourges on your sides and thorns in your eyes, until you perish from this good land which the Lord your God has given you,;to the first chapter of Judges doing the exact opposite.

Look at us here in America , it is those little gods telling us what we can do, say and have...
Joshua 24 :24 And the people said to Joshua, “The Lord our God we will serve, and His voice we will obey!”.
Easy to say , hard to do but God knows this and Jesus told us John 20:29Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.
These people saw first hand . We underestimate the power of the enemy , we have since the Garden. These people had Ephesians 6 fighting for them, we do as well. We see God spends many chapters and pages to show us we are in a war with an enemy that cannot be seen , but uses things and people that can be.

satan can not defeat God but uses what God loves and that is us. One day this war will end and peace will come for many but for many more that did not believe, it will not. Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.

We are in strange and perilous times and that sword is the true Word of God , know it better than anything in your life...
When we do things on our own outside of what God says , we end up in Judges 1 , even if it seems nice or fair. God fought for them in this story and He fights for us if we believe and obey. This world offered them lies and it offers us lies daily.
Luke 4: 5 Then the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish. 7 Therefore, if You will worship before me, all will be Yours.”

A verse to look at daily and we only have to look at North Korea or any Nation, God is not allowed to see satan gave to whomever he wished. It came to me this week something satan has confused is a name to his advantage. You see in movies and web sites ,many are looking for an antichrist but we are in a sea of them , this is what an antichrist is , 1 John 2:22 Who is a liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist who denies the Father and the Son.
Do you ever think about people you like that does not believe in the Father and the Son, as an antichrist , they did not in Judges Chapter 1 and we do not either...Gods commands are perfect … We are weak but He is strong...

We are not called to do what they did in Joshua , that did not work out well. We are called to Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
We are called to follow the lead of Jesus and when satan makes us an offer of this world , we are to remember 1 John 2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

I placed myself in the shoes of the people in Judges 1 and could see I would have a hard time as well , following those commands. Without doubt there where nice men women and children in those groups. Gods ways are not ours the Cross shows us that. Live to die as Jesus Christ was born to to die for us . Do not live for this world or its appealing offers...

Tiger, I will pray for sure. If he does have hearing challenges, please make sure he gets a good phonetic based learning program as he grows. I was a reading specialist and most kids who had hearing challenges, like small ear canals, were reading challenged. It was ONLY because they never heard the sounds properly during a critical developmental growth period. In my professional opinion, Kaplan educational programs have the best product that originally came from Canada. It is called SpellRead, P.A.T.

AJ's pediatrician appointment went good today. He has already gained some weight ! He has to see the specialist in 2 weeks.He is very healthy except for the hearing problem.

God is good

Judges 2 And an angel of the Lord came up from Gilgal to Bochim, and said. When I read this first line I thought of what my brother had told me about Angels. He saw them and heard from them after he woke from his coma. He told me he would not get better till I went to his house , I am not a physician so I did not know what he meant. He told me an Angel told him this. God used me to get him Baptized and a Pastor to his room and he confessed who is Lord...My brother was very sick and a lost soul before all this happened.
Notice the Angel was in Gigal , we are pretty clueless of what goes on under our feet , much less the Spirit world of God.

This chapter is full of wisdom , they forgot Who God is and we do to. When we want something of this world , God will allow us to have it , like these people, but it comes with a cost. I only have to look at my past to see the times God said no and I did not listen and thought it would be OK, to know this ...

God presented Himself to few in Scriptures , I have always pondered this. They forgot the power and Holiness of God and we really have. I see many of late saying He is not real or why does He not just show himself then we would believe.

When I was with my brother I only had Basic Christianity 101 in my soul. I knew my brother my whole life , I knew who he was before his coma. I only had to watch and listen to him to know he had seen and heard things we would long to see and hear.

God is real , God is Holy , but we live in a very unholy world. Verse 4 And it came to pass, when the angel of the Lord spake these words unto all the children of Israel, that the people lifted up their voice, and wept.
What makes us obey ? God knew my dad taught a strong obedience in me and I was usable. I feared my dad if I disobeyed, I fear not listening and obeying to God now.
Many have taken away the fear of God , even though Jesus said there is only One to fear.

Luke is one of my favorite go to places and fear is in that chapter more than others.
Even the ones God chose to speak to directly , feared him. The Gospels show even when Angels of God appeared , fear was the first response.

Scriptures have been twisted to take away the fear of God. I use to fear my dad if I did something wrong , I use to fear all kinds of earthly things. The world has taken this one verse, 1 John 4:18
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love, and twisted it.

I use to have all kinds of fears but now I get ,Luke 4 :4“And I say to you, My friends, do not be afraid of those who kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. 5 But I will show you whom you should fear: Fear Him who, after He has killed, has power to cast into hell; yes, I say to you, fear Him!

If Paul and all those before us did not understand what Jesus said in this , they could have not have endured all they did.
The people in Judges 2 lost fear of God and we have as well and that is just one of the reasons we end up in 2 Timothy 3.
Genesis 20: 11 And Abraham said, “Because I thought, surely the fear of God is not in this place; and they will kill me on account of my wife.

Abraham understood this and we should to , to not fear the world is perfect love. Take time to read and understand fearing God , it is not a bad thing but perfect love. Isis does not fear God, Hitler did not fear God, look at any people that does not fear and know God .
Colossians 3:22 Bond servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh, not with eye service, as men-pleasers, but in sincerity of heart, fearing God.
Hebrews 13: So we may boldly say: “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” This is perfect love.
He told His people over and over , Deuteronomy 6:13 Thou shalt fear the Lord thy God, and serve him, and shalt swear by his name.

Jesus explains in last days if we do not understand this we end up fearful .Luke 21:11
And great earthquakes shall be in divers places, and famines, and pestilences; and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
If we fear anything listed in that verse then we can be found in Judges 2.

2 Corinthians 5: 9 Therefore we make it our aim, whether present or absent, to be well pleasing to Him. 10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive the things done in the body, according to what he has done, whether good or bad. 11 Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are well known to God, and I also trust are well known in your consciences.

The Terror of the Lord we persuade men , when was the last time your heard a sermon on this? Hebrews 10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
Many will not like this message , I stand firm in what God has shown me . I fear God and that is a good thing not bad , as satan would want us to think . The satan that said Genesis 3:And he said to the woman, “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?” Has God said ?

Look at what God has said no other and make it our aim to please Him. The Baker that refused to make a cake that was against God commands, knowing the consequences of what the world would do , is perfect love...
I am a child of the 60s and what real love is has been twisted. Love is a perfect Baby born to suffer and die for us...

Prayers for both mother and child urgently needed.
