Wow , not sure what but big changes coming

1 Samuel 3 is so powerful I do not know where to begin. I read it in silence like I normally do but then the Lord prompted me to read it again aloud and I wept all the way through.
The first verse is just a wow factor for us in our time.

1 And the child Samuel ministered unto the Lord before Eli. And the word of the Lord was precious in those days; there was no open vision.

The word of the Lord is precious but we have made it a routine and an industry . Open vision what a wonderful term. We know in Judges 10 God said enough and let people live without Him and have what they wanted in the world.
I know I have done this , we all do and it fails on a grand scale. Eli was a sweet soul you can tell by his tone but he loved worldly flesh more than God. Eli was in charge of the Word of God and it had fallen to the ground. We can be very sweet like Eli and not love God with all our hearts and allow all kinds of things that God hates, even in His Temple. We do not have to go far to see this everywhere.

Verse 8 And the Lord called Samuel again the third time. And he arose and went to Eli, and said, Here am I; for thou didst call me. And Eli perceived that the Lord had called the child.
10And the Lord came, and stood, and called as at other times, Samuel, Samuel. Then Samuel answered, Speak; for thy servant heareth.
11 And the Lord said to Samuel, Behold, I will do a thing in Israel, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.

This word tingle is only in Scriptures three times in three different Books. This word in Hebrew and Greek is different than what we think of as tingle, it is more like a thrilling pain. Something that would be hard to forget.
Confirmation was given when the man of The Lord came and told that the line of Eli in the Lord's Temple will end with Samuel.

13For I have told him that I will judge his house for ever for the iniquity which he knoweth; because his sons made themselves vile, and he restrained them not.

We know David had this problem as well and that is why Jesus told us in,
Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

We see that while Eli could not say no to world he knew God, in verse 18 And he said, It is the Lord : let him do what seemeth him good.

One of the most powerful messages in this chapter can be found in these verses.
7 Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord , neither was the word of the Lord yet revealed unto him.
19 And Samuel grew, and the Lord was with him, and did let none of his words fall to the ground.
21 And the Lord appeared again in Shiloh: for the Lord revealed himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the Lord .

We can be raised in the Lord's House, we can go to man made schools , we can be under the Eli's but God reveals His Word , when He decides , not some passing grade. None of His words fell to the ground that is just humbling. I have heard in many circles of believers that certain things in the Bible was for that time . I have heard there are no more Prophets even though time and time again we are told it should be number two on the list of any gift. Without a good Prophet we end up in the days of Eli and God's words fall to the ground.
1 Corinthians 12: 28And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues.

We can see a Prophet of God guards His Words . God reveled Himself through His Words with Samuel and He does it now if they can be found in a land of Pharisee and Sadducee.


God called Samuel's name many times before Samuel's knew Who was calling him , I am thankful He does not give up so quickly when we do not listen or know His voice over mans .
We are in a time of Eli and his sons just as this story. We have built our little temples to hear the word the way we want to hear it . God knew when it was time for Him to raise up a Samuel and He will again. Until then we are in times of tickling of ears not tingling. Read the Word of God and ask Him to reveal it to you, know it better than those that teach it, make that your New Year Resolution.

2 Timothy 4: 3For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears.
Today when I read aloud 1 Samuel 3 my ears tingled , I did not understand why God wanted me to read it aloud till now . It is not a entertaining person , well spoken person or educated person but the Word of God that tingles our body, soul and Spirits . Get alone with Him...

We know things will come faster and faster. Today it came to me how God created birth pains that get closer before a new birth. Earth is the same , just be prayed up and live day to day. I would never guess what God is going to do but we have all the signs in Matthew 24 , Luke 21 and Mark 13. and Jesus says stay alert...

Pain seems to be the word of late. When a word keeps showing up I look it up in Scriptures. Pain is in Scriptures many times and is in Isaiah and Jeremiah more than another chapters.

We all know that by God's design because of Eve , as a new life is coming into this world , birth pains get closer and more painful . Forty years ago and I still remember mine, most women do.
Earth is the same as this process ,I only have to read daily to know the pains of earth are getting closer and stronger.
While there are countless mysteries about God , He left us many things to know and understand about Him , if we have the eyes to see and the ears to hear...
As a new life draws near for a mother the pain become unbearable.
John tells us in John 16:21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

As time draws near for our New Life it will be the same...

When pain or sorrows become overwhelming call on ; Jesus ,
Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

And remember;
Revelation 21:4
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”

Just like John 16:21 so will be the birth pains of earth...
Matthew 24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows. Since Adam and Eve got kicked out of the Garden and since Jesus died on the Cross we have been in pain and sorrow. To know why and for Who awaits at the end of this, is what we long for. Take your mind off the pain and concentrate on the outcome...Just like the joy found in seeing a baby for the first time...

Dear Heavenly Father , we call on You to be with the people of California tonight , we ask You help the rescuers and those trapped tonight , help us love one another and seek Your face in this in Jesus name we pray amen

Drinking coffee - I hope that's OK with Daniel? Heh. Sober. Wife just told me we spent $930 on alcohol since my binge started. (Going over the books) Just... hurts. Talks about "that going to our son" and it's - ouch, ouch ouch. Anyhow, I'm clear eyed and happy to be alive and God is good and well, I'm a sinner and screw-up but it's a cycle, I'm honestly remorseful and I do repent, and I know there's this image that Christians are all up up up; doesn't mean I stop trying to become a better person every day.

Pray for my handicapped son he is in the hospital for seizures, they dont know what is causing them he also bit his tongue quite bad. Its been 5 days and still dont know.

Dear Heavenly Father , we lift this child and ask anything not of You be removed from his body, soul and Spirit , let You hands touch this child and healing come in a way to Glorify Your Kingdom in Jesus name amen

1 Samuel 4 -7... Before we ever open the Bible we should ask God to help us read and see what He wants us to read. I use to not do this and in 2010 when God said read the Bible all way through, I did but I missed many things because I did not so this. I encourage you to never open it without praying first and ask Him to reveal what He wants.

Yesterday He had me read a small chapter a second time aloud and I was in awe what I learned. Today He had me not just read one chapter as I routinely do but several. I knew why when I got to Chapter 7.

Chapter 4 shows us God's words are always true and the end of Eli and his sons happen.

Many people die in these pages and the Ark is taken and now in the hands of the enemy. In chapter 5 it is comical what happened when they put the Ark in the same place with a little god called Dagon, 4And when they arose early on the morrow morning, behold, Dagon was fallen upon his face to the ground before the ark of the Lord ; and the head of Dagon and both the palms of his hands were cut off upon the threshold; only the stump of Dagon was left to him.
Chapter 6 we see no one wants anything to do with the Ark and the people are remebering God and what He did with Egypt and want no part of what Pharaoh went through.

19 And he smote the men of Bethshemesh, because they had looked into the ark of the Lord , even he smote of the people fifty thousand and threescore and ten men: and the people lamented, because the Lord had smitten many of the people with a great slaughter.

The Ark has always intrigued me ,God had Noah built an Ark and Moses as a baby was placed in an Ark and we have this Ark. There have been movies and all kinds of stories about what happened to this Ark.

We know from Noah and Moses to now it is all about the heart and faith in God , that has power...
Jeremiah 3:16 And it shall come to pass, when ye be multiplied and increased in the land, in those days, saith the Lord , they shall say no more, The ark of the covenant of the Lord : neither shall it come to mind: neither shall they remember it; neither shall they visit it; neither shall that be done any more.

We do know it reminded the people time and time again how Holy God is. Not the Ark but His commands concerning the Ark...
Chapter 7 :3And Samuel spake unto all the house of Israel, saying, If ye do return unto the Lord with all your hearts, then put away the strange gods and Ashtaroth from among you, and prepare your hearts unto the Lord , and serve him only: and he will deliver you out of the hand of the Philistines.
Now to why I was prompted to read on. God placed a call on my life to remind the churches and His people Who He is and how He speaks in and through nature.

My whole life people have said you should do this or that. My whole life things I felt lead to do, people said you should not do this or that. It was when I stopped listening to the world and listened to God I got it. The world has been in the days of Eli for a very long time now. It may not be what the world would pick for me to do, but God has been very clear . The enemy has been used even by believers to steer my course , I understand why satan would want this.
When I came to Chapter 7 I understood why God said read on...
Verse 10And as Samuel was offering up the burnt offering, the Philistines drew near to battle against Israel: but the Lord thundered with a great thunder on that day upon the Philistines, and discomfited them; and they were smitten before Israel.

We get a nano glimpse of what this must have been like in a great thunderstorm. If you do not understand God in nature, ask Him to show you in His Word. These people knew when they heard that thunder Who made it and why. Job 38 :23 Which I have reserved against the time of trouble, against the day of battle and war? Read Job 37, 38 and 39 ...Job 37:13He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

Jesus tells us of the nature we will face in the last days from rough seas and winds to earthquakes to the sun. Jesus also tells us Who He is in all this...Mark 4:41And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

Praying for your son and for you. I pray that God will bathe you and your son in his loving grace and guide the hands and minds of those medical professionals working with him. For you especially I pray for peace of mind during this ordeal. God bless.

When a buoy was going off in the Gulf of Mexico this morning, just south of us , I stopped in my tracks.
An Earthquake happened just south of us and was one of the largest that ever happened there. 7.6 it was shallow .
It was between Belize (one of my favorite trips )and the Cayman Islands. I never dreamed I would live to see a buoy go into event mode in the Gulf of Mexico, just south of New Orleans. Some time ago I wrote about event mode. These buoys know when the waves are higher than normal, when the pressure has changed around them . When this happens they go into what they call , event mode.

We are in a times as Christians to be in event mode. We should know when things are not normal or have changed.
Do not be going about business as usual because it is not... That earthquake was in a place the Bible calls “divers places. “ That buoy was moving in “divers places.”
