My dear friend Sharon whom I have known since stationed at RAF Lakenheath while in the Air Force close to 30 years ago is suffering from a “strange illness” in her words and needs prayers for her health.

Dear Heavenly Father , we lift up Sharon we ask she be healed body, soul and Spirit , let the enemy have no power in this and please give comfort for the loved ones , your will in all things in Jesus amen

1 Samuel 18 is about understanding love. I can not imagine growing up with Saul as a dad.
Verse 1
And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking unto Saul, that the soul of Jonathan was knit with the soul of David, and Jonathan loved him as his own soul.
Verse 3
Then Jonathan and David made a covenant, because he loved him as his own soul.

Matthew 22 :37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

I have seen many turn the love Jonathan had for David into perversion. We know Jonathan is not like his dad , he is very different. Love like this can be seen in Jesus and John the Baptist, Jesus and Peter.

Jonathan sees God in David. Love is very confused in our time. We have made it about many things that it is not.

God is amazing how He creates different characters like Jonathan and David and yet it is the love of God that we love. We do not see David saying He loved Jonathan as his own soul. David loved God , was raised with God , Jonathan was raised by Saul but God placed a special Spirit in Jonathan to know and see what real love is.


I have shared before , of the 70 year old Preacher in I met when I was young and we became good friends. We came from very different backgrounds but our souls connected, we both had the Holy Spirit living in us.
satan has taken secular movies , songs and books and has perverted love to the point we are in a sea of Sodom.

It is easy to love a person for many false reasons only when Jesus is in the middle can it be called true love...Love has nothing to do with sex as we will see in the pages ahead in David's life.
Just like God used Saul , God used Jonathan in David's life to show us many things about God and why we need Jesus...

Pray for me and my Walk with Christ. Over the course of the last week I have been gifted with a strong dose of Gods Spirit. Which has given me he ability to see how me straying yet again could be used for His glory. I was to the Moon I could see the world how it really was. I could see how close the return is. Then one text to a friend showed me the second half of the gift I had just received. To reflect how why I had strayed and what caused it.


I ask you to pray that I keep focus on the Lord because I don't want to go through that again.

1 Samuel 19 , what a messy chapter. Life is messy and without God , it is web of chaos and lies. We see lies , schemes and all sort of deception in this chapter . David knew what to do and Who saved him against bears , lions and giants. David had no questions when going against people not of God . Going against an evil spirit that God had set up , was a whole different story. Nobody likes Saul not even his children but what do you do with that , God set him up and they still fear God more than Saul .

Verse 9And the evil spirit from the Lord was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand.

We know back in chapter 8 the people wanted a king like everyone else. 1Samuel 8:7And the Lord said to Samuel, “Heed the voice of the people in all that they say to you; for they have not rejected you, but they have rejected Me, that I should not reign over them.

God gave them what they wanted and even campaigned and told them what this person would be like.

1 Samuel 8:9 Now therefore, heed their voice. However, you shall solemnly forewarn them, and show them the behavior of the king who will reign over them.”

We can see why God loved David , David loved God, even to the point of not touching Saul that was wanting to kill him.
What perfect timing God has with this story and our situation. We only have to look at the news to know we are in the times of Saul...
I cried when I saw a person ask this morning who will lead us, as many young people have never lived through a government shut down. We have the Answer , we do not need anything but God.
One day we will be off this battle field called earth , we will not be in the times of Saul. Until then have no fear the government is our Saul and God is allowing us time to see this.
One day we will not need or want a government. Ask God how to get through these times do not be the people in 1 Samuel 8. None of this is coincidence we are in times of vengeance.
Luke 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
John 4: 34Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work.
Jesus came to finish God's work, know what times your in and pray without ceasing...Thank Your Lord for Your words Your promise.

My grandsons doctor appointment with the hearing specialist had to be cancelled because he has no insurance. My daughter applied for state coverage for AJ, and it has still not come through.:(

I know about no money and illness - you can still find safe harbor

Years ago I had a family with no money and no food with only 5 dollars

I prayed that I needed 1500 dollars - I spent the 5 dollars on gas to get to a job
interview - not only did I get the job I got a 1500 dollar advance that day in cash-
my new boss went to the bank with me to get the cash - true story

I have been in that place

So have I, several times. God is Faithful and True.

When my middle daughter, who was a Shriner Kid, was about 2 years old, I was in a bad financial situation. I scrapped some things, and got $15 dollars, which I immediately took to Aldi to get some much needed groceries.I was upset, because I didn't get enough money to get a religious magazine renewed,which was $40 for a 3 year renewal, and barely enough for a few groceries.
As I am pushing the cart with my daughter enjoying the ride, back to the car, 2 ladies suddenly appeared in front of me, one blonde, and one with dark hair. They both were wearing all white pants and tops, appeared to be around 30 years old, and smiling ear to ear.They told me what a beautiful baby I had. My daughter was born with a total cleft of the lip and palate, no roof in her mouth, and tibia torsion, which is twisted lower leg bones. I had left a church where I had been a long time member, because of terrible things some people were saying about the appearance of my daughter, even telling me to keep that little monster at home, because her face disturbs them.For these ladies to just appear out of nowhere and tell me what a beautiful daughter I had,just totally floored me. My daughter already had some reconstructive surgeries by this age, but she still had a lot more to go.
I thanked the ladies,and they turned around and left. They went to a mid sized white 4 door car, and got in. A voice told me to look at my feet. Right in front of my feet were 2 $20 bills, folded together. I raised my head to find those women, but they were gone. They and the car just disappeared. There was no way to get out of that jammed parking lot quick.There is no doubt in my mind they were Angels. God sent them to help me, and to comfort me.

As for my daughter, here is a pic of my daughters and I, who took me out for my birthday last month.The middle daughter is the middle girl in the middle of this pic ! After many years and many surgeries, you cannot tell that she was born with a severely deformed face.

My dear friend Sharon, whom I have known since our Air Force days, has been diagnosed with the flu and dangerously low potassium levels and has been admitted to a VA hospital last night and I am asking your prayers for her.

She worked for my husband back in the day and he too is concerned about her welfare.
