Accidents everywhere. My oldest wrecked her car, but she is OK. She was on her way to grandmas to watch her as she does every monday and wednesday. She was going slow 3 blocks away from the house. A car come flying from the other direction, and she swerved to avoid an accident, and her car slid on the black ice. She hit a parked pick-up truck, and did very little damage to it, just the plastic piece under the front bumper. But, her car slid partially under the front bumper of the truck, and I think her car is totaled. The hood, left front fender, the left lights, and the bumper is smashed.She called the insurance company and the cops.She does have full coverage, with a $500 deductible. The truck she hit belongs to people we know. They were so kind, and calmed Mary K down. The they had to calm ME down when I got there.The guy duct taped the front of Mary's car together, so she could drive it the 3 blocks home.The bumper and fender were hanging down, but the duct tape held it together long enough to get it home. :( My daughter is crying her eyes out. This was her first car, and it was in perfect condition with low miles, a 2002 Saturn. Please pray for her to make it through this. My daughter has a headache, but I think it is from the stress. She is starting to calm down, and finally quit crying.She tried laying down, but couldn't sleep. She is now soaking in a hot bath. I expect her to be sore tomorrow. The seat belt held good, but the airbag never went off. We got a list of body shops close by from the insurance company, as this duct taped together car is not going very far. We are going to try to get it in this afternoon. I really think it will be totaled.:( you are both in my prayers - black ice is scary stuff :dfgyt: |

She drove her wrecked car with the duct taped together front end at 10-15mph to the body shop, and prayed that the tape would hold ! I followed right behind her, ready to put on my flashers if what was left of the front end of her car fell off. We made it there. The body shop said it is totaled, but they will wait to see what her insurance company says. They will give a call on Friday.They have been inundated with accidents today, and we have to be patient.We left her car there at the body shop, as it is not drive-able. We were not going to risk taking it back home. The Good Lord got us there, and we are thankful for that. Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow !!! |

Moses and Pharaoh are one of the best examples. That story in Exodus shows everything we need to know about His miracles and how He speaks and His patience. Jesus told us to be prepared everyday. Just like the people then , we get distracted . Quoting: Goofy for God In 2016 and 2017, The Lord reminded us we are not ready for things to come. To face this life is hard enough without all the events in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21 coming in faster. There comes a time where He will makes us listen to what He is saying and live as Jesus said day to day. I use to be a prepper before 2012 , after 2012 passed, God said it is only they heart that needs prepping stuff will not matter. Then that, is what He has always said. Please loved ones we are not in normal times in the Spirit world , we should not be trying to act as if we are. We have instructions , do not fear and yes that is easy said and hard to do in the face of danger. Read , Pray , Read and Pray. If you know someone that you love and they are on the other side of that great gulf fixed, as in Luke 16, get in their face and tell them there is time . If you have loved ones that ask why is all this happening , tell them, go to those chapters with them and remind them , Hebrews 10: 31It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. There is a time the door shuts and we are clueless when that will happen, due to false teachers we have been waiting on this or that . Jesus Himself says no one knows not even Himself. If you have things to make right or speak truth do it today...God Prepare Our Hearts This Day ... Amen |

Jesus and David did great things, yet the world only wanted to be mean and kill them. Their lives are a great testimony of what following God really should look like. We are all about being liked and popular and comfortable . From David , Jesus to Paul , that is not what Scriptures say. David could have ended all this business with Saul but it was not his job , it was God's. Jesus says this , Matthew 26:53Thinkest thou that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels? I use to avoid the story of David as all I saw was death , lies and deceit. What a wonderful God we love that he allows us to see things through His eyes. Our sweet Jonathan shows up and helps David , 16And Jonathan Saul's son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God. 17And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find thee; and thou shalt be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto thee; and that also Saul my father knoweth. God seems to always place at least one in our lives , with faith matched, to strengthen us when we need it. If we have placed our life in His hands , no matter what comes against us He knows... This chapter hows us many things , one God is in charge of our enemy . Verse 28 Wherefore Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines: therefore they called that place Selahammahlekoth. Any fear other than fearing God , is of the enemy and not understanding Who is in charge. Philippians 4: 6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. We all have had a Saul in our life. Someone wanting to silence us , to use us for their purpose. This is God's war be David and ask then listen to God's instructions. |

In retrospect, I have to see some humor in us actually getting what was left of that thing to the body shop for the declaration of DOA for that poor Saturn.Believe it or not, even with a smashed front end, and pieces falling off even after we got it to the body shop, it was still running. I imagine we looked ridiculous driving that thing over 3 miles to the body shop from our house, front end, or what was left of it, held together with duct tape, going 15mph tops, with me following close behind in my truck, at the ready to stop and put on the flashers, just in case the Saturn finally dropped dead on the street. My poor daughter hurts all over today. I expected her too. I am calming down, but I tell you, seeing the front end of her car wedged under that pick-up truck yesterday was terrifying to me, as a Mom.I didn't see her when I pulled up, and that totally freaked me out. The cop told me she was inside the peoples house who's truck she hit. They were calming her down, and comforting her. She got lots of hugs and assurance from them. God watched over her, as she was not seriously hurt. I hope God Blesses the owners of the truck for the kindness they showed to my daughter.We know these people slightly, but not real well. Now for the battle with the insurance company. She has full coverage, but we know she will not get enough to replace the car with something comparable.We are prepared to haggle, as the car was in perfect condition, not a scratch on it, and low miles.As some of you know, my daughter won that car 2 years ago in a contest. We both found one, but the one my youngest found is very low miles and in absolutely excellent condition, and a better price.It is a Chevy Malibu. Now we have to wait until tomorrow and see what happens with the insurance company. Whatever they give her is what we think it might be, is about $500-$1,000 less than what she needs for the Malibu. I am sure my youngest daughter would help her sister with the rest. Prayers needed for a good resolution to this mess, and to find another car for my daughter ! Can you add a small prayer for me? I had a canine tooth break last week, and went to the dentist this morning. The tooth needs to go. So, I went to the oral surgeon this afternoon for a quick look, and will have this blasted thing yanked next week Thursday by him. I really do hurt, and the left side of my face is throbbing and starting to swell. I am allergic to all pain and numbing agents, so my recourse is to have it pulled with no pain killer whatsoever, which I have had done several times before with bad teeth, or get knocked out with anesthesia. So, I just paid off the care credit for my dog Sheba, and now I will rack up almost $2,000 to have this blasted tooth yanked under anesthesia. I cannot have any pain meds after the extraction, which is going to be very rough, as the root of this blasted thing is deep into my cheekbone. I was forewarned by my dentist and the oral surgeon that I am going to be in a lot of pain for a few days after this blasted thing is pulled. Please pray that I can sleep a lot of this pain off after the extraction. Praise God from Whom all Blessings flow !!! |
