2 Samuel 4 is rated V for violence. We live in a very violent place. We have been pretty spoiled in America but I only had to look at the news from Syria yesterday, to understand how violent it really is.

In this chapter , once again men think bringing the head of Saul's son is a good deed. Verse 8 And they brought the head of Ishbosheth unto David to Hebron, and said to the king, Behold the head of Ishbosheth the son of Saul thine enemy, which sought thy life; and the Lord hath avenged my lord the king this day of Saul, and of his seed.

Verse 12 And David commanded his young men, and they slew them, and cut off their hands and their feet, and hanged them up over the pool in Hebron. But they took the head of Ishbosheth, and buried it in the sepulchre of Abner in Hebron.
I can not even imagine what that looked like, another isis scene I am sure. What a mess life is since the day the people wanted a King and God gave Saul.
One day because of the blood shed by Jesus Christ , this war will be over and I for one am grateful and anxious for that day...
Revelation 21:4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
