Just wanted to thank everyone for the prayers. The Lord is so good and just. I spoke to someone about trials in life and it was sobering to hear when she said that if our Lord had to suffer while on this earth, what more his followers. Let’s keep praying for each other and be prepared for whatever tests that may come our way. Remember, the battle has been won! God bless

2 Samuel 17 , what a mess. This life is a mess but without God it is unbearable. To have your own child do as Absalom is doing to David is found in the words of Jesus.

Luke 12:53 Father will be divided against son and son against father, mother against daughter and daughter against mother, mother-in-law against her daughter-in-law and daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law.”

In this chapter we have deception, suicide , secret intelligence and some tired and hungry David followers.

God is not slack in His promises , just like He told the people what Saul would be be like when the people wanted a king, He told David what his life would be like after the Uriah event.


2 Samuel 17 :19Then the woman took and spread a covering over the well’s mouth, and spread ground grain on it; and the thing was not known.

Of all the things that happened in this chapter, I love the woman and the well. It was words of warning sent to David that saved him that night . It was a woman and a dry well used that sent me to , John 4
11 The woman said to Him, “Sir, You have nothing to draw with, and the well is deep. Where then do You get that living water? 12 Are You greater than our father Jacob, who gave us the well, and drank from it himself, as well as his sons and his livestock?” 13 Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, 14 but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.”

What is happening to David in 2 Samuel 17 , happened a long time ago. A thought came of what if David had the whole story like we have , would he have taken something that did not belong to him, something that looked pretty, like that fruit in the Garden.

Since the Garden we know we are flawed , we forget just like David forgot what this is all about. We forget the role of satan , the role of earth , the role of pleasing things earth offers.
Luke 4:6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

David was in a war , we are in the same war, it is easier if we never let a day go by without reading the Bible and praying to the One this is all about...

We take the Bible for granted. We can read how our life plays out in that great Book. We are blessed , I wonder if David could have read 2 Samuel , if he would have made better choices. The story of David is for us all , there is a little bit of David in all of us. Today we have words of warning and a living well to draw from. The greatest thing for us to take away from the life of David is , ask God before we make decisions of any kind...

Hey everyone it's The0sis / Intercess0r -- J@ck :) With baby Jackson.

Had to come back real quick and post while I still can - bans always lifted during major events.

Life is going great. I quit drinking; it's been 28 days now... Circadian Rhythm is back. My wife and I found middle ground as I use to be a big LOA believer and we found Christ-Focused-How-LOA-works-Because-Of-Christ sub culture thingy and we both love it.

Prayer warriors; house is alive. Planted plants; tomatoes; squash - Found all these annuals for .5cents yes five cents each at Lowe's as they moved out the Winter Plants... god send - we bought about $15 of .5cent plants and ended up with pallets full. I made my own patio lights that look amazing. We are working as a team doing so good with Ebay and Craigslist. Bought a shed for $40 off Ebay. Spend all weekend - she painted it; I caulked and bleached inside and scrubbed - first, then she painted - anyhow, and then the finishing touches all by her - I list it; and yes we are in a little thing called "Village of the Arts" in our city yet once again, since baby, but, now, so much better - and that $40 shed turns into a $260 dollar shed and when a Chrysler 300 pulls up and then a City Truck that's never hauled anything in it's life pulls in; just baby boomer marriage with money - That $260 turns into $300 with God's blessing -

and then, we were talking about joining the HOA for this area (zoning is so weird. It's... hard to explain. They basically gentrified downtown.. or rather, "took it back" - and everyone was grandfathered in... Yet most of the people selling art or candles or yada yada... are usually extremely wealthy Northneres who retired down here...

Point is; there's a Mega Church in this area that is sponsor a "(our city) Dream Center" Block Party.

Perfect idea to try and network, socially.

GLP is no good for me in major doses... Just... I can't focus, get a weird energy from it - I'd rather be productive all day than just sitting.

Yes, but this HOA gets the grant money from the City. Also, they have a community donation pool for the "starving artists" -- The place that sells everything in Mason Jars over on 9th hardly has business (twice a month in season, once a month when not in season - The Houses in the HOA are numbered and on the "Map" -- every House on the Map sells art/food (two 4 star restaurants are in this little neighborhood that are word of mouth only blah blah) -- etc, Yoga... But, if they can't pay the mortgage, or an electric bill -- Between the grant money from the City that MUST be spent or else they lower on next years Fiscal Budget... and with more and more wealthy people moving in... many of that grant money is going to homes in the HOA with problems with income.

Yet, I'm researching it. I really am.

May I please ask that somebody can pray for me and my family, so that I can get a job soon.

I got retrenched a couple of years ago, and my home-business folded.

I have applied for many jobs, and nobody want's to employ me.
