My daughter is hurting this morning, and still loopy from the concussion.The underside of her chin has a big airbag burn about the size of a palm of a hand,besides the small cut. Her nose is still swollen and so is some of her face.The blueness around her eyes is not as bad as it was last night.The cut on her nose doesn't look bad this morning.
I give all the glory to God, that she was able to survive this accident. The car was smashed in all the way up to the windshield, no front end left.My husband says the way the car looks, Mary K should be hospitalized or worse.
I will have to do her business for her for the next few days, as she is just not with it right now.We got to keep a close eye on her for the next 72 hours because of the concussion.

1 Kings 8 is an amazing chapter. I am going to make a suggestion. On your knees, as King Solomon did , with KJV , at least once a month with hands towards Heaven, read that prayer aloud starting at verse 22-53.
Verse 10And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place, that the cloud filled the house of the Lord , 11So that the priests could not stand to minister because of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of the Lord.

God came in a cloud , how beautiful and it reminds us Jesus will return in the cloud ,
Luke 21:27Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

Any prayer in the Bible is so important for us to help us see what God wants, rather then in prayer what we want , we have lost his.

Verse , 35 When heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have sinned against thee; if they pray toward this place, and confess thy name, and turn from their sin, when thou afflictest them: 36 Then hear thou in heaven, and forgive the sin of thy servants, and of thy people Israel, that thou teach them the good way wherein they should walk, and give rain upon thy land, which thou hast given to thy people for an inheritance.
They knew why rain came , stopped and Who controlled it. They knew Who was in control of their environments, we have lost this. Read that prayer from a man God set up and loved.

Verse 46 If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near; 47 Yet if they shall bethink themselves in the land whither they were carried captives, and repent, and make supplication unto thee in the land of them that carried them captives, saying, We have sinned, and have done perversely, we have committed wickedness;

I love every verse in this prayer , until Jesus returns we can be found in every verse. Nothing has changed except , we go to God through Jesus and we we do not have to sacrifice animals like sheep, thank the Lord. Jesus paid that price, Hebrews 9: 11-15 .

Verse 63And Solomon offered a sacrifice of peace offerings, which he offered unto the Lord, two and twenty thousand oxen, and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep. So the king and all the children of Israel dedicated the house of the Lord .
Jonah 4:11 And should I not pity Nineveh, that great city, in which are more than one hundred and twenty thousand persons who cannot discern between their right hand and their left and much livestock?”
Jesus is found in all chapters of the Bible and why we need Him...

I only have to look at those photos to see this verse

When I saw that over 2 million people are without power this morning from the storm called Riley, it made me pause.
I wondered what people where doing in their time of having to be still. We live in a crazy busy world , 24/7.
As you know I have been keeping up with large events since the Solar Eclipse that happened last August. Events have been non stop and now 6 months later , Riley is our current one.

I just want to remind us there is One source of power that nothing can make it go out. If you are having to be still , be still with Him.

We rely on man made things way to much and He reminds us of that.

Job 37 :11 Also by watering he wearieth the thick cloud: he scattereth his bright cloud:
12 And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commandeth them upon the face of the world in the earth. 13 He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy. 14 Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.
Stand still and consider the wondrous works of God, satan will want you to focus on all other things.

One day we will not even need electricity or the Sun.
Isaiah 60:19 The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the Lord shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

My daughter Mary K is very sore this morning, and the large air bag burn under her chin is looking nasty. I am going to call the doctor monday morning, and try to get her in right away for a follow-up appointment.
Mentally, she is in worse shape than physically. She is a basket case. She is terrified to leave the house at all, and says she will never drive again.It is going to take a long time to heal from this.

I do have a pic of Mary K's car. When my technologically inclined youngest daughter comes home sunday night, I will see if she can transfer the pic so I can post it here on this thread.
