Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

I am so worn out. I was at our insurance company this morning, taking care of everything. Then at 12:45pm to my dentist to get a broken tooth fixed, then 4pm for Mary K's doctor appointment.
Mary K has a bad concussion, and the doctor wants her to see a neurologist.Besides her memory loss, her speech is also affected.If her back and neck do not get better within a week, the doctor wants her to go to physical therapy.
The insurance company for the guy who hit my daughter is about the worse in the USA.Their claims adjuster was a total witch. My insurance told me that if they call me again, to tell those jerks to call my insurance claims department, and not to talk to them any more. I will not even go into the conversation with the witch from that insurance company, as she was unbelievably nasty and mean.

1 Kings 13 is entering one of my favorite story lines . We are in the times of Jeroboam...
Verse 1 And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the Lord unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense.

Jeroboam is just an evil person, we know he worships all kinds of gods. This verse is a great example of how important it is to know good from evil. Many burn incense to the only God and do not know Him.

Verse 4 And it came to pass, when king Jeroboam heard the saying of the man of God, which had cried against the altar in Bethel, that he put forth his hand from the altar, saying, Lay hold on him. And his hand, which he put forth against him, dried up, so that he could not pull it in again to him.


Jeroboam did not know who he was dealing with and it cost him. Now the man of God ask God to restore his hand and He did.


Verse 7 And the king said unto the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a reward. 8And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in this place:9For so was it charged me by the word of the Lord , saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way that thou camest.
The man of God found it easy to say no to Jeroboam.


Verse 17 For it was said to me by the word of the Lord , Thou shalt eat no bread nor drink water there, nor turn again to go by the way that thou camest. 18 He said unto him, I am a prophet also as thou art; and an angel spake unto me by the word of the Lord , saying, Bring him back with thee into thine house, that he may eat bread and drink water. But he lied unto him. 19 So he went back with him, and did eat bread in his house, and drank water.

The old ,lying prophet is told by God , in verse 22 But camest back, and hast eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which the Lord did say to thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the sepulchre of thy fathers. 24 And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase. 25 And, behold, men passed by, and saw the carcase cast in the way, and the lion standing by the carcase: and they came and told it in the city where the old prophet dwelt.

To see this lion and ass next to this torn up body would be something you would never forget.
2 Timothy 4:17 Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me; that by me the preaching might be fully known, and that all the Gentiles might hear: and I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.

God delivers Daniel from the mouths of lions as well. Job38 tells us Who controls all things.

God was hard to find in the time of Jeroboam and we can only imagine how hard it was for an old prophet in a place of everything goes. This old prophet probably longed for a true prophet of God and had lost touch of what it meant to obey the only God and the consequences if you did not.

Verse 30 And he laid his carcase in his own grave; and they mourned over him, saying, Alas, my brother! 31 And it came to pass, after he had buried him, that he spake to his sons, saying, When I am dead, then bury me in the sepulchre wherein the man of God is buried; lay my bones beside his bones:

This old prophet felt bad and had his sons go and get this man of God.

There are so many lessons in this story for each generation. This place can be seen all around the world right now and America is one of the worst. There are some churches that morning service is for God and the later service is for another god in the same building. There are some buildings claim to be of God and have all kinds of little gods in them...That man of God was told what to do and so are we. Yet like the man of God , we do not listen and then wonder why we are being eaten by a lion... This man of God did not listen to the king , he listened to a lost prophet.

Last verse in that chapter says, 34 And this thing became sin unto the house of Jeroboam, even to cut it off, and to destroy it from off the face of the earth.
Like the old prophet we do not want to forget , we do not want to listen to man even if they say they are of God , when it goes against God . If God says something even though the world is saying and doing something else , remember this was a and is a trick of the enemy since the garden.

I my self have faced what this man faced most of us have. God has told me things and even now old prophets say “oh he did not say that. “ We are in the times of Jeroboam and everything is OK, let liven peace and harmony .Jesus did not come to bring peace on earth, He came for us to find peace in Him in the middle of a war.
It was a man who loved God but lived in a time as we are in, that caused this man of God to be ripped apart. There are many warnings in the Bible about ripping the word of God apart. The greatest warning is not finding our name written in the Book of Life. It is the church being spoken of in the last days, being lost to the world , that can be seen in this old prophet.

Know the word of God better than those that teach it. It is easy to say no to Jeroboam , it is harder to say no to an old prophet that became a part of Jeroboam's kingdom...

Ephesians 6:

12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

I was just thinking of writing an article about how we must abolish the federal reserve for that is the entity that keeps us enslaved. I came and read your prayer and it is about fighting the rulers of the darkness of this world.

Seems you are going through a string of bad luck! So sorry to hear that Tiger. But it has to end one day soon. It has to. Despite the hurting, your daughter is very lucky to come out of that accident alive.

And please stay in control when it comes to the Insurance Witch. You are the one that has the lead, not her.

This was no fender bender. The windshield was cracked from one end to the other, which really doesn't show up in the pic.
I ended up turning all the work on this accident over to my insurance company this afternoon, after another nasty call from the other drivers insurance this morning.I am done with their attitude.
Between Mary K's medical, my husband's current medical condition, my old dog Sheba, and everything else I got going on, I had no choice. It was either our insurance company to do battle for this, or get legal representation.
I have spent the whole day on the phone with insurance people, medical people, and in between trying to get groceries, take care of my dear old sweet dog Sheba,and watching over my husband, as his health is not good, and checking on Mary K frequently.

I appreciate all of your prayers so much ! I do not know what I would do if it wasn't for you, my friends !

I will not question why this accident happened to my daughter, and am just so thankful to God that she will be OK. This could have been so much worse.
My priority is getting her well again, and lining up all the doctor appointments and everything else, so she CAN get well again. The bruises have now faded to yellow, and the air bag burn under her chin is looking better.Her back and neck are still bothering her, but the headaches are not constant now, but off and on. It will be one week tomorrow that the accident happened. I am still in shock over this, but I have work to do for my daughter's well-being. She still has memory loss and problems with her speech.

1 Kings 14 :1 At that time Abijah the son of Jeroboam fell sick.

Jeroboam is all that God hates. He has mixed all religions but does not seek an answer in a time of desperation, from his little gods.
Verse 5 And the Lord said unto Ahijah, Behold, the wife of Jeroboam cometh to ask a thing of thee for her son; for he is sick: thus and thus shalt thou say unto her: for it shall be, when she cometh in, that she shall feign herself to be another woman.


The answer that was given would not be one anyone would want to hear and carry back to share, we can not imagine.


Verse 11 Him that dieth of Jeroboam in the city shall the dogs eat; and him that dieth in the field shall the fowls of the air eat: for the Lord hath spoken it. 12 Arise thou therefore, get thee to thine own house: and when thy feet enter into the city, the child shall die. 13 And all Israel shall mourn for him, and bury him: for he only of Jeroboam shall come to the grave, because in him there is found some good thing toward the Lord God of Israel in the house of Jeroboam.


Jesus told us there is only One to fear and this story is a reminder of that. We do not know much about this child except the most important thing , that God found favor, God saved him. The Cross , God's grace and mercy is read in this story.
We never think in these terms when we lose someone to death. This passage is clear God saved this child by taking him away from an evil place. God makes many statements in this amazing story .


Verse 30 And there was war between Rehoboam and Jeroboam all their days.

God told Solomon what would happen and it did. We are told as well , Solomon had a strong warning but he chose the world.

1 John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

God saved this child by allowing him to die, be buried and mourned , Jesus on the Cross saved us...The hardest thing to do as humans is to follow 1 John 2, because we truly do not understand what waits on the other side...We are in a city of Jeroboam until God takes us home and we long to be this child , “ there is found some good thing toward the Lord God of Israel in the house of Jeroboam.”
Getting sick and dying is not what we have made it, God shows us in this story...That childs body was sick but his soul was well...

Many people are going through so much. In comparison, even though we have had trouble on top of trouble, so many out there are going through a lot worse than us.I am taking one day at a time, and trying to chill out the best I can. I have all my confidence in God, who will see us all through everything going on here.
