Isaiah 64 KJV

1 Oh that thou wouldest rend the heavens, that thou wouldest come down, that the mountains might flow down at thy presence,

2 As when the melting fire burneth, the fire causeth the waters to boil, to make thy name known to thine adversaries, that the nations may tremble at thy presence!

3 When thou didst terrible things which we looked not for, thou camest down, the mountains flowed down at thy presence.

4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O God, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

I know she was hurt, but by the looks of that car, it could have been A LOT worse!

Do you have a side view as it appears the Honda folded into an accordion as it was supposed to protecting the passenger compartment.

I do not have a full side view pic, but it DID fold like an accordion !!! That is EXACTLY how my husband described it to me before I actually saw the car !!!
The passenger compartment was NOT compromised, but the front of the radio, the cup holders, the rear view mirror and some other things inside broke loose on impact.The rear view mirror landed in the passenger side of the front seat. Good thing no one was riding with her, as the rear view mirror would have beamed them but good !

Most of Mary K's injuries, besides the whiplash, were caused by the air bag. I am glad she had her contacts in instead of wearing her glasses, as the glasses would have definitely broke. The doctor told us that it is very common for people to get a broken nose from the airbag, as they come out with great force.

God was watching over her !!!

For her to be healed body and soul from this, she has to let go of the anger and forgive the reckless driver who did this.She has a right to be angry, but she has to let this go and move forward.
I have already forgiven him, but it was not easy to do so.I am upset that my child got hurt because of the recklessness of another person.I cannot change what happened, I can only help my daughter move forward from this.

1 Kings 15 and 16 we go through at least 8 Kings and only 1 did good in the sight of the Lord. Asa
was the only good King and he did this .

Verse 12 And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made. 13 And also Maachah his mother, even her he removed from being queen, because she had made an idol in a grove; and Asa destroyed her idol, and burnt it by the brook Kidron. 14 But the high places were not removed: nevertheless Asa's heart was perfect with the Lord all his days.
Most all other versions of the Bible replace the word sodomites with something else. We want nothing to do with what went on in Sodom . The sin in Sodom was great but the one we read about is found in this where God sent two of God's Angels.
Genesis 19 :5And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
Another thing Asa shows us by removing his grandmother is found in the words of Jesus.

Matthew 12:47 Then one said unto him, Behold, thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to speak with thee. 48 But he answered and said unto him that told him, Who is my mother? and who are my brethren? 49 And he stretched forth his hand toward his disciples, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren! 50For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.

I find it interesting the common theme with each bad King.
1 Kings 15 :34 He did evil in the sight of the Lord , and walked in the way of Jeroboam, and in his sin by which he had made Israel sin.

“Made Israel sin,” with each bad King we see repeated . I saw someone of late say , God says obey the laws of the government , so if the government says it is ok then it is ok...NO, if it goes against God's laws. Then again we have allowed the enemy to whisper , did God really say?

This kind of thinking can be found in 1 Kings, “made Israel sin. “Jesus went to the Cross to be our One and only King to follow.
Peter , Stephen and all the others faced terrible things like jail , following the Laws of God and not the laws of the land. Those men in the Bible suffered and died not for doing something wrong in God's eyes , but for sharing the Word , something against the world.

We are in perilous times and do not want to be found following what humans say. I saw here in America there is a growing number of people that feel threatened by a Cross or even a plaque with the Commandment and having them removed everywhere. I always find it interesting, these lost souls do not understand why such things threaten them, if there is no God?

We are walking away from what Asa did as a ruler and walking in the land of Sodom and Jeroboam. Yes the laws of our country has mocked God , know God 's laws better than the laws of how to even drive a car...
1 John 5:3 For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
They are not grievous when the first command is followed. Luke 10:27Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind...

Studying the Book of Job is very humbling. I would be confident to say there is not a person alive that has not faced some part of the life of Job , good and bad. He is a great example for our lives.

Many times I have heard believers say something that has troubled every time I hear it, “that miracle or thing that happened was personal to you.”


I guess all that happened to Job was personal to him , with that kind of thinking. I guess all that happened to Paul was personal to him , with that kind of thinking.

We live in a culture of everything is personal , look at our selfies , our twitter , our Face Book.

Nothing about my life is personal , that is lie of satan.

1 Corinthians 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?
20 For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's.

We are a collective and there are only 2 collective groups to be a part of.

Matthew 5:15Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.
Romans 12:5 So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

We either believe this or not ? satan loves when God does something in our lives and we say that was personal to me , I will put under a bushel That is his job and he was good at it in the Garden and today...

Read the Bible it is for all and so was the lives of the people in it. Job's life story was for us to learn from and so is ours. Job belonged to God and so do I, my life story is not my story but the Creator of all stories, for His purpose not some private purpose...
Angels are learning from us there is nothing private or hidden in this world...

Yes He was!

Many times, God will take a disaster, and use it bring blessings to those affected, which shows God's awesome power and glory.

It will be interesting to see how this unfolds for you folks.

Testimonies to others of the miraculous things that God does for we Believers not only shows the power of God, but also glorifies Him.

I heard an anology last night on the radio comparing reservoirs and rivers to we Believers and our testimonies.

Instead of us being like reservoirs (storing up our experiences), shouldn't we be like rivers, and be sending out "life promoting water"?

If you are like a good majority of folks who have read Revelation, you probably struggle to understand the meaning of the "Seven Churches" and how it would relate to end times, especially considering that those churches have basically vanished from the world.

But if you take the "traits" that are used to describe those 7 Churches, and apply them to modern day religions / denominations, you may be able to see how those things are relevant to specific groups.

Steven M Collins does just that, and you can download a 57 page PDF that explains his analysis of this.

IMHO it's pretty eye-opening.

I couldn't sleep last night. Too much on my mind.I think I got about 4 hours sleep, total.

When I face this I stop and get on my knees and ask God to help me let go and He give me rest and He does

1 Kings 17 if you read my book then you know , one of my favorite Prophets is Elijah.

Verse 1 As the Lord God of Israel liveth, before whom I stand, there shall not be dew nor rain these years, but according to my word.

Verse 2 And the word of the Lord came unto him, saying, 3 Get thee hence, and turn thee eastward, and hide thyself by the brook Cherith, that is before Jordan. 4 And it shall be, that thou shalt drink of the brook; and I have commanded the ravens to feed thee there.

Just wow , at all that is in these verses. My favorite is how the ravens listened to God and do as He commands. I have long said that God's animals listen to Him better than we do.

Verse 14 For thus saith the Lord God of Israel, The barrel of meal shall not waste, neither shall the cruse of oil fail, until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.

God sends Elijah to a widow and her son after his brook dries up...She does as Elijah tells her and Verse 14 is very important for us all to remember God provides even in the worse circumstances and Who takes away rain and sends rain...

Verse 21 And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the Lord , and said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again. 22 And the Lord heard the voice of Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived.

So we have God creating a drought ,ravens doing His work , healing , and food that never runs out.

Job 41: 11 Who hath prevented me, that I should repay him? whatsoever is under the whole heaven is mine.

We tend to forget everything is His and for His purpose. Over 3 years with no rain will have devastating consequences. I thought about the droughts in our life time , many lived the Dust Bowl in the 30s that lasted from 1931 to 1939 and the heat alone killed thousands .

I think about how countries now send aid to countries that suffer famine. This drought with Elijah the only place to go was God but that was always the case.
Verse 14 until the day that the Lord sendeth rain upon the earth.
Job 38 :28 Hath the rain a father? or who hath begotten the drops of dew?
We can send aid to people suffering under a drought , but that food will run out if God is not the first source.
John 4:15 The woman said to Him, “Sir, give me this water, that I may not thirst, nor come here to draw.”

Everything is God's and about God, they forgot that in 1 Kings and every generation after , including us......

I looked at the Dust Bowl in the 30s to see what took place during that time with Spiritual eyes . What an amazing time of events. The Dust Bowl started when the Empire State Building was complete? Seems there was a competition of who could build the tallest building, sound familiar ? It was the tallest building until the Twin Towers was built and after 2001 , it now remains one of the tallest.

I took time to look at how people behaved at this time and the racial violence was terrible. We come from a dark past. Most of us forget , what we did to the Native Americans and African Americans , they could not even worship God in the same building with white people . Proud and Pride are words we want nothing to do with....

I will never understand how we all read the same Bible and have some of the the history we have , but so did the Kings in 1st and 2nd Kings !!!
