Dear Heavenly Father, we ask You be with all involved and let the enemy have no power , we pray for the loves ones of all involved , we ask for healing of body, soul and Spirit , we ask for Your hedge of protection on Tiger and all her family and let good come from all this in Jesus name amen

2 Kings 10 , is one bloody scene. God chose a man that could carry out His promise to Ahab in, 1 Kings 21: 29 Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me? because he humbleth himself before me, I will not bring the evil in his days: but in his son's days will I bring the evil upon his house.

We know from King Saul , God sets up Kings ,but for His purpose and that does not mean we are to follow them. Since the people called to have a King like the rest of the world , there are only a few that followed God.

Just because we want something and God allows it , does not mean that was His plan when we rject Him. We are to know the difference.

30 And the Lord said unto Jehu, Because thou hast done well in executing that which is right in mine eyes, and hast done unto the house of Ahab according to all that was in mine heart, thy children of the fourth generation shall sit on the throne of Israel. 31 But Jehu took no heed to walk in the law of the Lord God of Israel with all his heart: for he departed not from the sins of Jeroboam, which made Israel to sin.
We know starting in Genesis after the eviction from the Garden , God takes every chapter up to Matthew , to show us why we only should desire One King , Jesus Christ.

The people that followed Saul even though God allowed him to be King ,had a bad ending. The people that followed Ahab, had a bad ending.
Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

Do not follow a bad leader of any kind , that does not follow God, just because you think God set him up...

Romans 1
27And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. 28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
That is along list!!!

Have you noticed that for a good long time , money is the headlines. Money is found in the first chapter of the Bible and last . Jesus and His one time of anger was with the money in the Temple. Jesus shows us what he thinks about money with Peter , when He placed a coin in the mouth of a fish.

It is sad how many lives are destroyed by this thing we have been told to not to love. My husband and I for as long as I can remember have watched Amazing Race and Survivor. I find it amazing what people are will to do, to win that money.
The one thing I have found to be a recurring theme is what is called fate, I will not use the other word.
When someone does something just pure mean ,it comes back to them in weird ways.

Starting with Weinstein to this very day for our FB family, everything is about money. They say FB lost Billions in just 2 days... I have often thought of the people alive when Jesus returns and all the things people treasure or make important will be gone is flash. For the people alive they wont even need a cemetery plot ... My mother holds her tea cups and plots dear , gone.

Nothing matters except what God does not cast in the fire on Judgment Day. If we have the eyes to see, without doubt , God is showing us , money and all we hold dear of this world , will not and does not matter and in fact some of can be found in Matthew 7.
There are things we have forgot that will keep us out of Heaven. If you have anything on that list today , get rid of it , while it is today.
Matthew 7:21 21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.
We have made going to Heaven a fast lane and the Cross a pass to do whatever. Please listen , we are in times of repentance. If we think this time is only for those in the public eye , we lose the whole message... We all have sin stored up and many times do not even know it because it has been locked away since childhood.
Revelation 21:8But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
Read all of 1 John
1 John 5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments. 18We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

To love God is to wake each day and try and follow in the steps of Jesus...Examine today , I was tested yesterday by something I did not even know about. I turned it over and He took it away and gave me peace...

1 John 2:15 15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. 16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. 17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

We have been in times for a long time , of not preaching and teaching what gets us in Heaven and what sends us to hell. Jesus is very clear on all this. Many no longer believe in hell. There is many teaching everyone goes to Heaven. Lies of satan started in the Garden and they have grown stronger. Ask God to reveal anything hidden in your life He wants gone and ask Him to take it.

The words of Jesus , Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

Oh Wow GFG! Both of those words above fit in with what God put in my heart this morning in my prayer time:

There’s been a change in the spiritual atmosphere. Can you feel it? People are becoming disheartened and are becoming more callous and colder because they put their faith in a king instead of God; they put their faith in the wrong things. We need to pray for those people and pray for ourselves as well. The change in the spiritual atmosphere, if we let it, it will bring us down too.

Now is the time to shed off the negativity that is going on around us, stand up like the warriors He called us to be and pray. Pray against the dark powers that are causing this and ask God to send his warring angels to defeat them.

The key is people are searching because they are disheartened. They have put their faith in the wrong things, but need something to put their faith in. Now is the time to witness like never before, sow the seeds, and pray for souls that they will be brought into the kingdom of God.

Time is short.

Prayers going up.

It all boils down to TRUSTING God.

Look at how the people continually acted once Moses kicked things off.

No matter WHAT God did for them, they quickly forgot it and then whined about something else.

It's no different these days. Many people tend to forget what God did for them in the past, worrying about the "new" challenge in their life.

I gotta wonder how many of them have been told that, at some point, God is going to remove His Spirit from the face of the earth.

But God's Word states differently. And throughout the Old Testament are stories of God's forgiveness & subsequent Blessings to those who Repent and restate their Belief.

Joshua 1:9
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”

2 Samuel 7:28
28 Sovereign LORD, you are God! Your covenant is trustworthy, and you have promised these good things to your servant.

Psalm 9:10
10 Those who know your name trust in you, for you, LORD, have never forsaken those who seek you.

Psalm 13:5
5 But I trust in your unfailing love; my heart rejoices in your salvation.

Psalm 20:7
7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the LORD our God.

Psalm 31:14
14 But I trust in you, LORD; I say, “You are my God.”

Psalm 56:3
3 When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.

Psalm 84:12
12 LORD Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you.

Proverbs 3:5-6
5 Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; 6 in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

2 Kings 11 and 12.

God uses the very old and very young, He uses who He wants , when He wants for what He wants. Long ago humans set up a system to decide who is used , from leaders to Priest. We now live in the aftermath of that.

2 Kings 11:1 And when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal.

Jezebels daughter has done much damage but she only thinks she is in control.

Verse 3 And he was with her hid in the house of the Lord six years. And Athaliah did reign over the land.

Verse 21Seven years old was Jehoash when he began to reign.

2 Kings 12 :2 And Jehoash did that which was right in the sight of the Lord all his days wherein Jehoiada the priest instructed him.

Even in a sea of Baal , God always has His chosen. We see by Jehoash only being 7 it is not age,or size , it is the Power of God...

2 Kings 12:3 But the high places were not taken away: the people still sacrificed and burnt incense in the high places.

Luke 4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, shewed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time. 6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give thee, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

Until Jesus returns we will have the high places offered.

2 Kings 12:20And his servants arose, and made a conspiracy, and slew Joash in the house of Millo, which goeth down to Silla.

This world is not our home, this place never cared for the goodness of God. We can kill what satan uses and we can kill what God uses but this battle will not end until God says it will end. Ephesians 6...

2 Peter 3:13
Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

2 Kings 13

Verse 3Then the anger of the Lord was aroused against Israel, and He delivered them into the hand of Hazael king of Syria, and into the hand of Ben-Hadad the son of Hazael, all their days. 4 So Jehoahaz pleaded with the Lord , and the Lord listened to him.

There is much in this chapter , anger of the Lord happens a lot in Scriptures and now . He listens when He knows our hearts longs what He wants.
These chapters are no different than our last 100 years , up and down. Good leaders , bad leaders, fallen away, turning back.

Verse 14Elisha had become sick with the illness of which he would die.

This is amazed me. Here was a man of God , had a double portion of the Spirit and he was sick with an illness that makes him die.
Elisha had done all kinds of miracles and healed many , yet he dies with a sickness. We have not heard from him in a while in these chapters. We are in chapter 13 and we have not seen his name since chapter 9, so he may have been sick for a while.
God took Elijah in a whirlwind but here Elisha is sick like we get sick, why? What is God saying as our lives and deaths have meaning.

Verse 20 Then Elisha died, and they buried him. And the raiding bands from Moab invaded the land in the spring of the year. 21So it was, as they were burying a man, that suddenly they spied a band of raiders; and they put the man in the tomb of Elisha; and when the man was let down and touched the bones of Elisha, he revived and stood on his feet.
Just wow, Jesus is all over the life and death of Elisha. We know Jesus showed us dying is not what we think it is , it is life if we follow Him. Elisha shows us the power of God. Just because our body dies our Spirit does not...Elisha did not live a normal life yet he died as you or I will. Elisha's Spirit did not die and ours will not either. Read Ezekiel 37
Ephesians 5:30 For we are members of His body, of His flesh, and of His bones.

We are just going to freak out One Great Day . Jesus went to the Cross for us to have the Spirit of God and Jesus to our mediator. A chosen few had the Spirit of God in the beginning of these stories the people followed the ones that either had the Spirit of God or the spirit of satan, we are no different.
Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

John the Baptist was born with the Spirit . Luke 1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother's womb.
Hebrews 2:4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will?

He does what He wants , with Who He wants , When He wants. We are the ones that put Him in a box..But understand we have access to what Elijah ,Elisha and Peter had, through the Cross of Jesus Christ.

As the disciples of Jesus abandoned him after his arrest and scattered, like Jesus, bear your crosses, trust in God and his divine plan, you will receive your reward in the end!
