Update.

My brother Kenny went to the specialist at Northwestern in Chicago earlier today. The tumor has shrunk and can no longer be felt. He is scheduled for surgery on May 24th. He will have a battery of tests before the surgery, and the chemo port is being left in for now. Best case scenario depending on what the surgeon finds when they open him up, is that they remove the tumor and he goes home in a couple of days. He might have a temporary colostomy until his body heals. Worst case scenario, they open him up, have to do a permanent colostomy, and he has to get more chemo and radiation. Please keep him in your prayers.

2 Kings 16 and 17

2 Kings 16:2 Twenty years old was Ahaz when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and did not that which was right in the sight of the Lord his God, like David his father.

I thank the Lord I lived long enough to ask for forgiveness for all I did in my youth. Jesus shows us it is not about age, we can be 12 years old and be about our Fathers business.

The Lord had me keep reading and I want to spend time in Chapter 17. Chapter 17 can be seen in America and most places that allow all religions .
This did not work out well then and it will not work out well now. It seems like a nice and good thing to do , until we remember Who opens the mouths of lions, Who this is all about.

2 Kings 17: 7 For so it was, that the children of Israel had sinned against the Lord their God, which had brought them up out of the land of Egypt, from under the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and had feared other gods, 8 And walked in the statutes of the heathen, whom the Lord cast out from before the children of Israel, and of the kings of Israel, which they had made. 9 And the children of Israel did secretly those things that were not right against the Lord their God, and they built them high places in all their cities, from the tower of the watchmen to the fenced city.

They did it and we are doing it. We fear the little gods like they did... If we did not , then the word No , understanding that comes with a worldly penalty, but a gift from God , would be said more.

I have had friends that worshiped little gods , or none at all. They where some of the nicest people you could meet.

2 Kings 17:25 And so it was at the beginning of their dwelling there, that they feared not the Lord : therefore the Lord sent lions among them, which slew some of them. 27 Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, Carry thither one of the priests whom ye brought from thence; and let them go and dwell there, and let him teach them the manner of the God of the land. 28 Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear the Lord . 39 But the Lord your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.


Jesus tells us there is only One to fear. Did you think of God last night in all that thunder. He is the only One that can speak like that. He is the only One that can send out His lions, everything He created obeys Him, except humans???
2 Kings 17 had all the religions in one place, we have done this as well. We where told we would , yet we where blind and did not see it coming. Daniel lived in a place he was told not to pray to God , he did it anyways. We all know he was cast in the den of lions , but the same God in 2 Kings 17 that sent those lions , is the same God that shut the mouths of those lions for Daniel . The same God in 2 kings 17:39 but we fear the little gods more...I look at some of my silly Montana hiking trips and know without doubt Who animals listen to , they listen better than we do...

If you die before Jesus returns...will you not still be rescued?

Accepting Jesus as Savior gives access to the Father.

The Father rescues ALL who repent and Believe.

I am praying that it is the best case scenario.

My friend Sharon has provided an update to her brother’s condition she is ecstatic, as he has improved greatly from the last time I posted a prayer request for Dean.

Sharon is requesting more prayers for her brother Dean and has humbly requested prayers for her daughter Jamii to find a better job not for greed and more money reasons Jamii wants a better work environment as she works in a hostile environment that is alien to her personality.

As an update to my husband Mike’s progress after his stroke today was his first day back to work although he has been working from home since last month. He needed driving time and our frequent snowstorms derailed driving trips plus his vehicle required a safety recall issue fixed that was completed yesterday.

As always prayers to everyone.

Dear Heavenly Father , we thank You for what You have done and about to do, we ask continued healing Dean and Mike , we ask that You will open the door for Jamii that is the right fit , we ask the enemy have no power in any of this , we ask You bless Silver and keep this family in Your loving care ,in Jesus name amen...

Lord please hear my prayer. Tonight was a hard night, but not because it was harder than any other night, but because I am growing weak and tired of every night being hard. I ask you give us the strength physically and mentally to do your work in the face of the many temptations and troubles this world faces. In this life, we may not deserve all the help that we ask for and I certainly don't have much in the way of help to offer, but my heart longs for a body with energy and a heart filled with love and forgiveness.

Please forgive me. I am not the person I used to be or want to be. Over the years I have become a coward, a liar, and despite my incredible hate, I have become incredibly tolerant yet very angry. I do not hate the people I hate and I only fear now because I feel the distance between us. I ask for the holy spirit to join me in place of the drugs and entertainment I consume to better prepare me for these last days.

I am ok with life not being easy, and to a degree I thrive on it. I do not always want to feel good because I like to measure my progress. I feel rewarded with hard faught victories, though I do not want to live in this world any longer, many of us here do not. The suffering is at an all time high and I'm not really sure how much more we are all equipped to take, or willing to.

I do not talk to my friends or my family, I do not go outside, I dont eat right, I dont excercise, I hear death creeping up on me around the corner and as much as I think I just want to die, it couldn't be further from the truth. I love my family, I love you God, and I love ALL the people I fight for, and I love fighting for the people I love. I love life, it could be so much better.

I sit at this computer in this chair every night, burdened with sadness and tormented by what has become of my life, not because it is hard and because I am weak, but because I am a sinner and I repent of my sins constantly...compulsively. My past outlives my intentions and I can barely even put my head on a pillow at night. Please continue to guide me and empower me to carry out the mission I was put here for. Please see through my mistakes and to my true will, heal my aching heart, mind, body and soul, and may it be your will that your children find peace soon.

Lord if I am not doing your work than stop me alltogether, please. Thank you for the many many blessings you have given me, they are not in vein and only work to serve your purpose. You know how many times you have saved my life, I hope you keep finding reason to do so.

Not sure when we started making God , a get rich business but He is showing us it is not to late to change that.
In the news for about a year we have seen well known , rich people falling like rain. We have people in the secular world to churches being charged with all kinds of things.
I have always struggled with the system set up for God's work , looking the same as the secular. It is the perfect set up for failure . God shows us what happens from King David and King Solomon, when we have all we could want, we only want more. Jesus is our example and the ones He taught to follow. Matthew 6:36 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

There are no coincidences in life and all these stories have purpose. Many are facing great loss of all they worked for. This man may go to prison but that may have been his saving grace... Only what we do for His Kingdom will survive the fire. Yesterday I was upset with some things and felt like a failure. I was judging my accomplishments by the worlds standards. This story gave me confirmation I want nothing to do with the worlds standards.

It is true, being in the county jail most likely saved my life. Gave me a lot of perspective and time to think, nobody to talk to but God.
