This morning the Bishop had a special service at our church. Afterwards, people from my church, and the Bishop and his entourage were going out to eat at a local restaurant. I told them I didn't think I could go, as I had to go home and take care of my old dog Sheba.When I got home, I took out Sheba. I asked my husband if he wanted to go to the restaurant, and he said he would. Now, my husband is anti social, and has been giving me a horrible time about going to church.He doesn't want to go anywhere, except when he goes to a bar. We went, and he saw for himself that there are good people at my church, and he has nothing to worry about.Maybe this is the breakthrough, time will tell.

Prayers said for all.

Father in His precious Name,, we pray for the good outcome for Goofy's mother having eye surgery,,,may she see You more clearly as a result...

1 Chronicles 6-10

A list of many names and we see after Jesus came there is only One name that matters. In Luke 3 He is called the Son of God. There was only One name that mattered on these pages but we see why Jesus said the road is narrow. There where few that truly followed God then and now.

1Chronicles 10
13 So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the Lord , even against the word of the Lord , which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it; 14 And enquired not of the Lord: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.
Please note Who killed Saul and Who turned the Kingdom over to David. The same God that turned it over to Saul ...Life and death belong to God for His purpose. God raised up these kings to show us why we follow One King...We need say to the Lord daily , in the times of Samuel the people wanted earthly kings , we do not.

God has shown us from that day to today why He gave earthly kingdoms over to satan.
Luke 4:6 And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I will give You, and their glory; for this has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish.
1 John 2:15 Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
They had choice then and we have choice now, signs are all around to show us to not love these little kingdoms.
Luke 4:8 And Jesus answered and said to him, “Get behind Me, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ”

1 Chronicles 11

17And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, that is at the gate! 18 And the three brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: but David would not drink of it, but poured it out to the Lord . 19 And said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing: shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in jeopardy? for with the jeopardy of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three mightiest.
Have we ever wished for something that only gives a moment of comfort or pleasure and it came with a great cost?

I have many times in the past . We can see why God loved David. In the worlds eyes what David did would look like a terrible response.
Jesus is seen in this passage and it is a beautiful response.
Luke 22:20 Likewise also the cup after supper, saying, This cup is the new testament in my blood, which is shed for you.
David that longed for a drink from that well gave it back to God. David knew God could make water come from a stone. David knew that water would only make him thirsty again...

John 4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life.
We do not deserve what we are given and we are to give back to the Lord , body, soul and Spirit...

Psalm 130

1 Out of the depths have I cried unto thee, O LORD.

A while ago, I asked for prayers for my youngest son. He again went through attacks when trying to get closer to Jesus and let go of things that bound him. Since then we got him in Christian counselling and he is doing much better. Praise God! All of the prayers combined with counselling has really helped him and now he is helping others come out of new age, occultism and bondage.

Just wanted to give a praise report.

Now, I ask for prayers for my older son. He is going through a lot and needs the foils of the enemy to be exposed.

Edited to add: God does not give us anything more that we can bear, but this latest attack on my oldest son is a lot. I need prayers too.
