I've got a situation that could use some prayers. Sort of a long story to get to the important stuff so I'll leave all of that out.

My sister, the married one with 2 little children, had an MRI done yesterday/last night. Her doctor called her today (while she was at work) to tell her that the MRI shows multiple blood clots either in or on her brain. Some are months old and some are newer.

She hasn't been able to see correctly out of one of her eyes for a few months now. And gets headaches all the time.

WTF?!

On top of that, my sister asked her doctor if this is something that could be life-threatening and her doctor said no! Ummmmm, YES it can be!!!

Ironically (not so much anymore) when she got the epidural a few months ago before delivering my niece, she said that it killed and sent a very sharp pain up her spine, up her neck and into her BRAIN. She was telling us this the day she delivered. Since then she has had terrible headaches, lost most of the vision in one of her eyes and just starting this week she's having trouble saying some words at times. : (

who arrived at an emergency department in coma, but they can also be seen in conscious patients.
Epidural hematomas usually occur in conjunction with skull fractures, and this is no coincidence, as the
ruptured blood vessel often lies beneath the fracture. The presence of an epidural hematoma signifies a
highly dangerous condition. Between 5 and 43% of people who have them die. Emergency surgery to
remove the clot is the usual treatment.

2 Chronicles 13

And there was war between Abijah and Jeroboam. 3 Abijah set the battle in order with an army of valiant warriors, four hundred thousand choice men. Jeroboam also drew up in battle formation against him with eight hundred thousand choice men, mighty men of valor.
Abijah of 400k warns Jeroboam of 800k, Who is the Captain of his army.

12 Now look, God Himself is with us as our head, and His priests with sounding trumpets to sound the alarm against you. O children of Israel, do not fight against the Lord God of your fathers, for you shall not prosper!” 13 But Jeroboam caused an ambush to go around behind them; so they were in front of Judah, and the ambush was behind them. 14 And when Judah looked around, to their surprise the battle line was at both front and rear; and they cried out to the Lord , and the priests sounded the trumpets. 15 Then the men of Judah gave a shout; and as the men of Judah shouted, it happened that God struck Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah .

A survey is now out that shows few Americans believe in the God of the Bible, they believe there is a God, just not the one in 2 Chronicles 13.
We where told we see this happen in 2 Timothy 3 and other places . My question is why on earth would you not want to believe in the God of 2 Chronicles 13.

When I read this chapter today , I ask for forgiveness for not trusting more the God I just read about . This younger generation that has decided to leave Scriptures and create a God they want ,can be found here,

In 2 Chronicles 13 verse 12 those trumpets will sound again and to not know the God in the Bible ,is a fearful place to be...
1 Thessalonians 4:16For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first.

I guess the question to ask the doctor would be if this could be related to a mishap while administering the epidural anesthesia. It would explain the initial symptoms she had and possibly the hematomas on her brain if their was hemorrhaging involved. Bleeding would change the very sensitive pressures in the spinal and cranial cavities and could cause trauma to the brain. The two may or may not be related, but it is something to ask the doctor about.

The treatment is usually to watch the situation to see if it will resolve on its own. If it does not then surgery may be done.

PTL! God heard prayers on this thread and mine. My son broke up peacefully with his girlfriend in that horrible relationship. She admitted to him she was verbally abusive. He needed to hear that.
