2 Chronicles 26
Uzziah is King and did great things.

5 And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the Lord , God made him to prosper.
16 But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the Lord his God, and went into the temple of the Lord to burn incense upon the altar of incense.

He became popular , powerful and forgets Who made him prosper. I have long wondered how popular people and powerful people do not make it about themselves on stage. How they stay humble to not become Uzziah must be hard, it was for the people in Scriptures. The Priest told him the rules but he had let power go to his head.

19 Then Uzziah was wroth, and had a censer in his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the Lord, from beside the incense altar.

Jesus did many things for us and we are all welcome to the House of Prayer . Jesus did not make God unholy and I am amazed at what has happened the last 50 years in a house of prayer.
Luke 19:46 Saying unto them, It is written, My house is the house of prayer: but ye have made it a den of thieves.
Jesus replaced those priest , we go to God the Father through Him , He did not replace our Holy God.

John 14:6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

Matthew 6:9After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Jesus made this first, to help us remember Who we are speaking to. We are a people of 2 Timothy 3, please remember how Holy God is, Holy is in Scriptures over 500 times.
1 Peter 1:15 But as He which hath called you is Holy, so be ye Holy in all manner of conversation.

From Genesis 1 to the last page of the Bible we love a Holy God. We can never repay what was done for us but we read the pages of the Bible and see what He loved and hates and strive for what He loves everyday.
We should put on and give Him better than anything we give the world...
