Just shaking my head at all the bad news today - the Middle East, Hawaii and some family issues.

In other times that I have been in a storm, I have imagined myself in a small boat that is totally watertight. the waves roll over, but I am safe.

May GOD protect us all.

2 Chronicles 33

It only takes one person to destroy all King Hezekiah had done and it was his son Manasseh .

2But did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord , like unto the abominations of the heathen, whom the Lord had cast out before the children of Israel. 5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord.

How terrible that we are living this very same thing. We have blended all religion and made peace with all the little gods, yet we have the Manual to life and death...

This chapter shows us God's mercy and grace.

11 Wherefore the Lord brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon. 12 And when he was in affliction, he besought the Lord his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers, 13And prayed unto him: and he was intreated of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the Lord he was God.

We do not have his prayer but you can find it online. It was a prayer of repentance from the heart...We are in a time of repentance as well...

My brother Kenny has tests today at Northwestern in Chicago, to check on the status of the tumor before the surgery on the 24th.Preliminary tests a couple of weeks ago showed that it had shrunk. I pray it just disappears.My 95 year old mother still has not been told about my brothers cancer. He wants to keep it that way unless it becomes absolutely necessary.

My youngest daughters car broke down in Chicago on Saturday. One thing went out, and took out 3 other things. She got home Sunday evening, after the car was repaired to get it back home.There is more wrong with it, so she is trading it in today for another car.I pray the new one lasts her for many years, and gives her no trouble.

Dear Heavenly Father , we ask the car not break down again and that all sickness leave Kenny's body and not return from his body, soul and Spirit and glory be given to You in Jesus name amen

We where told all that would happen and hearts having fear. It is a bitter sweet if these are truly end days and try and read Matthew 24 , Mark 13 and Luke 21 and keep our heads looking up to better things to come. Love to all

2 Chronicles 34 and 35

Ever since the people wanted a human King and not God , we see a pattern to this day. We see wicked rulers and then God allows one that loves His ways as Josiah. In the clean up of the last bad King they find the book of Law.
19 And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the law, that he rent his clothes.
21 Go, enquire of the Lord for me, and for them that are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found: for great is the wrath of the Lord that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the word of the Lord , to do after all that is written in this book.

Josiah wanted what God wanted , he wanted to do God's will. We are in times many are abandoning this part of the Bible and my heart breaks into pieces for them.
We have many that no longer believe the Bible and can be seen in these pages over and over.

Many did love God in the Scriptures and obeyed as Josiah did. Then many believed in God but not Jesus and now we have many believe in Jesus and that He did away with the God found on these pages.

Jesus is very clear …
John 1:In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.
Jesus is very clear...
John 5:30 I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.

John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

All the sacrificing in the days of Josiah was to remind the people Who they belong to. God sent Jesus to be the ultimate sacrifice so we do not do this in verse 35.

2 Chronicles 35: 11 And they killed the Passover, and the priests sprinkled the blood from their hands, and the Levites flayed them. 12 And they removed the burnt offerings, that they might give according to the divisions of the families of the people, to offer unto the Lord , as it is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the oxen.

The Word of God became flesh for us to remember Who we belong to...

Jesus is very clear...
John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

God the Father , Jesus Christ our Savior and the Holy Spirit are on the first and last page of the Bible.
We are living out 2 Timothy 3 please know what that means...

I could use your prayers today for courage , wisdom and the enemy have no power in this day. Thank you love to all

A storm. Under the storm it as night with dark clouds and vibrating thunder and wind and rain,
above the storm are flufy clouds rising up toward the heavens bright with light.

Sometimes sunrise can be likened to the garden we read of in Genesis.
The birds singing as it gets brighter, creatures and plants seem to be coming to life, pastel colors paint the sky above.
