Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

In Scriptures Jesus was followed by those that wanted to catch him saying or doing something wrong, those where called Pharisee.

If we spend time looking for others to fail we will never be disappointed. The Pharisee got disappointed because Jesus is the only One that did not fail. We can fix our eyes on people as a Pharisee or as Jesus did. Jesus knew everyone was a mess ,that is why He went to the Cross...I am a mess, you are a mess , they are a mess. Jesus concentrated on His Fathers will. When we can follow that example, we find out what this means... Mark 12 :30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.31 And the second is like, namely this, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. There is none other commandment greater than these.

To love God is to want all to follow Mark 12 as Jesus did. If we take our eyes off of that, satan pulls us off in all kinds of directions . No we will not be perfect like Jesus but love is to want all to know what Jesus can do for us if we allow.

What Jesus can do THROUGH us.

There where two things in the news this weekend that are clear messages of God .

 

One was a rock slide in Italy that stopped within feet of a very old church ,built in the 1500s. The other was a church that burned that had just been remodeled but the Bibles did not burn.  

There are signs all around us everyday to remind us this is not our home , we are just visiting. There are signs all around us of Who our Creator is. There are signs all around everyday if we know the Bible and see how God spoke to the people in it.

Was it coincidence that rock slide happened right behind that church and stopped withing feet, some will say yes. The people of that town saw it as a miracle from God. Was it a coincidence a fire happened to a church just rebuilt and only the Bibles survived , some will say yes . Many people say it was a sign. We either believe earth is God's footstool or not . We only have to read the entire Bible to see God was backing these verses in just those two incidents.

Acts1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. 

He will save His church...

2 Peter 3:12  Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?

Earth will dissolve....

Matthew 24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Only His Word and what we did with it will survive the fire...

BTW . The Lord led me to when He gave Adam dominion that is used in the wrong way now . I never caught that before...

Sorry for my absence, my prayers continue for you all whether I can be here or no.

I just thought of you yesterday, I think about all the people that have come and gone on here. I miss Lisa , we can leave this forum or we can stay and try and be a Light shining. I can leave and be forgotten quickly just like any. Cyber friends are not the same as people we have had physical contact with. There is a big difference but they play a part of our life. We need both, bless you Marco and all who come here...

I remember Lisa Lisa, I suppose circumstance doesn't allow her to be here. I don't know.
Twice when praying for those here on this thread my eyes saw a mist like I was surrounded in a cloud while praying, not something easily forgotten. I think of you all here and GLP often.
