Being a child of God has always been about faith and obedience. God the Father , Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit are on the first pages and last.
God started His first church in the wilderness with Moses. If we ever look at people as anything other than , Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus; we lose the whole message of the Cross. Moses only had to be gone a little while for golden calves to be made , they needed the Holy Spirit. God spends much time and pages to show us this...
We miss the message from Genesis to Revelation and how God took those that followed in Leviticus 19:33 And if a stranger sojourn with thee in your land, ye shall not vex him. 34 But the stranger that dwelleth with you shall be unto you as one born among you, and thou shalt love him as thyself; for ye were strangers in the land of Egypt: I am the Lord your God.

We miss the message in Matthew 15:25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.
26But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. 27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table. 28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

God created something in me that in all my falling away never left my Spirit. I grew up in the 60s and prejudice was abound. I grew up with it even in my home but it never took hold of me. I remember the first time I saw what Hitler did and I wept for days. I saw what was done to people of color in the 60's and my heart wept ever time I saw it . satan has always been busy making people see people as this or that race or group , that is what he does, he knows what to use to divide.
We where to always see each other as “children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.” or the lost . Jesus and His 12 preached to a group of people that did not believe in “the faith in Christ Jesus .”. Jesus calls those to still preach to that group and then He chose Paul, Jesus change things up in Acts 9.
Acts 9: 15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel: all can be seen here...
The Cross did many things but the greatest is , Galatians 3:26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus...
God knew the plan and need in Genesis , in Micah and to this this very day, satan's job is to divide and confuse...The Book of Job shows us satan knew what to use to keep Job for a while and it shows us God wins in the end...
There are only 2 kinds of people ,believers or non, there is only 2 powers God's and satan, we have allowed satan to make it about many other things...One Book, One Story , Two Sides...

Busy day! My 86 yr old dad was in the backyard working on the garden and tore a ligament in his right bicep. At first he thought he injured his shoulder and then he showed me his right arm. His poor arm looks like it was in permanent flex position and swollen.

Poor thing was worried about taking care of his volunteer duties tonight at church and taking care of my brother who broke his hip so he was resistant at first about going to the ER.

Long story short, he went to the ER and has to see the orthopedic in the morning for surgery. Please keep him in your prayers for total healing and quick recovery.

When we go through the whole Bible we see patterns in what God did and what the people did.
For the most part it is always the same , turning from God and God doing this when the people turned back.
Micah 7:18 Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy.
19 He will turn again, he will have compassion upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. 20Thou wilt perform the truth to Jacob, and the mercy to Abraham, which thou hast sworn unto our fathers from the days of old.

When we read from Genesis to Malachi we see the people always turning away to other ways and little gods. When we read from Matthew to the end we see something different. Babylon is seen hundreds of times from Genesis to Malachi and only a few times from Matthew on and most of those are in Revelation.
Jesus taught hard to those that believed in God. Jesus explains in the end days we will be as the beginning, that is thought provoking.
Genesis 6:5 And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. 6 And it repented the Lord that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
Luke 17:26 And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.
We have been working towards the days of “Son of man,” since the beginning. God in Micah was not at a do over , as He was in days of Noah. God in Matthew gave us a do over time. God gave us yesterday and today to remember all He has done for us. In Micah that is what He wanted the people to do and that is what He wants today. There will come a day as in days of Noah, that day will no longer come. They did not pay attention before the flood ,the question is are we paying attention now, is God's heart grieved enough to send Jesus ?

I see many saying right now, if their is a God why are things as they are? They did not listen in days of Noah and to this moment in time . To know what is of God and what is of world , we have to know every word of God, not just the happy,feel good , parts …
The Bible has timelines and we where to know what time we are in. Ask today are in in Genesis 6 or Micah 7, we can not act the same in those time lines ...Ecclesiastes 3
