Prayers said for all.

My dog Sheba WAS doing real good. Last night she threw up a couple of times, which is not unusual,as she gulps her food sometimes and it comes back up.She can be a real piggy !

Early this morning, with no warning, Sheba had a Grand Mal seizure. She has never had a seizure before.This seizure lasted a good 5 minutes. She was thrashing around, convulsing, and her mouth was rapidly slightly opening and rapidly shutting. All I could do was make sure she was not hurting herself until the seizure ended. I had a friend many years ago who used to get Grand Mal seizures, so I know what to do.

The Vet had called here yesterday morning while I was at church, to see how Sheba was doing.He is a great and caring Vet, who took the time on a day off, to check on Sheba. I called him this morning after Sheba stabilized. He said he could give me meds for the seizure, but I told him unless she has another one, I will treat this as an isolated incident.I also told him I will not be doing any further treatment for Sheba. What it is, is what it is.

Sheba, who was doing great when I brought her home, is now listless, and seems to not remember how to eat and drink. I have to hold her head and pet her to stimulate her to do this. It is like she is not here anymore.I am sure this massive seizure caused brain damage.

I am not taking her in to be put down.She is comfortable on her soft bed in my breakfast nook. I expect her to pass away in the next couple of days unless she bounces back from this. There is nothing else I can do for her, and taking her back to the Vet is not going to make a real difference.All I can do is love her until she is gone. I just hope that she hangs on until my 3 daughter's get back home late tomorrow night.They are out of state visiting family.I did not tell them what happened this morning with Sheba.They are having fun with their cousins, and I do not want to spoil it for them.

So, I am on a death watch with Sheba. I am bawling again, but got to get it together for a school board meeting late this afternoon.

I do need prayer, and so does Sheba.

Dear Heavenly Father , we ask that Sheba not suffer and if she is not going to get better she pass in her sleep with no pain and be with Tiger and give her what she needs to get through this in Jesus name amen

I got to get it together, as people are depending on me at this school board meeting. After the meeting, I am supposed to give my videotaped comment(our school board is really bad) to be put online with a local news source.
I am falling to pieces right now.

This breaks my heart. Like I said before animals are so innocent and cannot communicate their needs. I saw your post below but just wanted to say I can relate to your grief and praying for you and Sheba.

Dad's surgeon visit was post-poned til tomorrow so hopefully we will have a surgery date tomorrow by noon.

Sheba is still here with us, but I think she had another seizure when I was at the meeting.She had perked up some just before I left, and had eaten a small amount of food,and drank a little bit.She is listless again.
I told my youngest, as she was going to order me 3 packs of doggy diapers for Sheba, but is only getting one now, per my request, because I don't think Sheba will be using very many more.:( I hated to tell her, but I do not want her to order what I might not be needing.

The guy that was supposed to videotape a segment for the online paper didn't show up, and the meeting dragged on past what I thought it would. There is another meeting tomorrow, and this one is going to be a whopper. I still need prayers to keep it together. I believe with all my heart, that all of you on this thread praying for me, and for my sweet Sheba, are really keeping her going, and me to keep it together.

3 The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power, and will not at all acquit the wicked: the Lord hath his way in the whirlwind and in the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet. 4 He rebuketh the sea, and maketh it dry, and drieth up all the rivers: Bashan languisheth, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon languisheth. 5 The mountains quake at him, and the hills melt, and the earth is burned at his presence, yea, the world, and all that dwell therein. 6 Who can stand before his indignation? and who can abide in the fierceness of his anger? his fury is poured out like fire, and the rocks are thrown down by him. 7 The Lord is good, a strong hold in the day of trouble; and he knoweth them that trust in him.8 But with an overrunning flood he will make an utter end of the place thereof, and darkness shall pursue his enemies. 9 What do ye imagine against the Lord ? he will make an utter end: affliction shall not rise up the second time.
The people of Nineveh listened to Jonah , they would not listen to Nahum many years later .These people worshiped nature not the Creator of nature , that Job 37:13 tells us He causeth it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.
It will be used for correction. Just like now in many Nineveh's around the world, He knows Who loves Him and they will understand His correction.
For many years now when there is an earthquake , hills that melt or a drought or any force of nature , I try and see what is being worshiped in those places, it has never failed what is found. I look for what might be making God jealous as in Nahum 1: 2 God is jealous, and the Lord revengeth; the Lord revengeth, and is furious; the Lord will take vengeance on his adversaries, and he reserveth wrath for his enemies.

For a good long time now there has been 5.0 earthquakes happening in a part of the world I am not familiar with. What is even more amazing is I had searched and read about this place before I read the Bible this morning , not knowing what I would read.

The place having these earthquakes is almost 100 percent a false religion.

Humans now, just like the people in Nineveh have forgot where they lived and why. We can be seen in the story of Nineveh that Great City in the Book of Nahum... God when He has had enough, reminds us Who is Great . In the Book of Job and other places they called these things good because they where seen as correction , Mercy and Grace and reminders.

If we do not know Who created the earth and can make it shake , then those things He uses has no meaning. God flooded earth when he had enough, He sent fire and brimstone to Sodom when He had enough and Nineveh is about to see Who is great. We forget how God speaks and how He will end earth...
2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
Recently they found a new Super Volcano they had not known about in the Massachusetts, Vermont and New Hampshire area, we just think we know much. The timing of this is something to think about.

Nahum 1:3, tells us “The Lord is slow to anger, and great in power. “ When lava flows non stop and no human life is lost, that is slow to anger. When constant 5.0 earthquakes happens and no loss of life, that is slow to anger. His great power is seen in those things and how He controls them. God sent Nahum to remind the people Who controls the winds and sea and they had become so great in their thinking , they did not listen or care.
We are to be ready for “the Day of The Lord ,”everyday as no one knows when He will say enough. For those 14,000 dead people dropped off in the Sahara Dessert and being dropped off daily , I pray it is soon...I pray for any that can be saved today ,that they will come to know Who made that dessert now being used as an oven for men, women and children. God is slow to anger but Jesus and Peter are very clear He can make a 1000 years happen in a day . Few where the workers then and now that understand that power and how it is seen on earth... In that place having those earthquakes , 1 percent know Who shakes the earth , pray for them today. 1 Percent of Algeria know Who created that dessert being used as a human oven , pray for them. Jesus tells us to pray for His elect , look at your prayer list are they on it?

Pray hard as we are in a time of migration of refugees around the world. The only migration that matters is where Souls go when God has said enough...Tells someone today Who is Great and controls all things for His purpose. 2 Chronicles 7:13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. Pray for the UN that is out in that dessert trying to save some . Pray that they are saving not only their bodies but their souls. Pray they are Christians and can share Who is coming back...

Humanity's cruelty seemingly has no bounds, on this plane of existence at least.

God help them.

Nineveh was the capitol of the Assyrian empire, very evil and I see why Jonah resisted. Yet their King heeded the warning and they repented at the preaching of Jonas.

Yet when The Christ came to Jerusalem the Holy City they sentenced him to death and did not repent.
Hard to see hope for this country or any country in these days we are in. LORD have mercy!

Sheba is barely with us. My 3 daughters are literally on a plane right now, coming back from visiting family in Florida.I really think Sheba is trying to make it until they get here.:(
