When we read the Bible we should always keep in mind the conclusion. I had someone tell me they did not want to discuss the Return of Jesus. Their life was looking pretty good and they where not ready . They even used the term dying with the Return. This is a person the seed was planted but no roots,their roots are in the world. Today as I read Matthew 22 and saw something new.
Matthew 22:7But when the king heard thereof, he was wroth: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.14 For many are called, but few are chosen.36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.38 This is the first and great commandment.39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

Until we can follow verse 37 and 38 then no other commands matter. When we do follow 37 and 38 we long to follow ever command of God and are being dressed for the wedding. In the US alone ,there are over 95 fires , if we can not see those fires and see what verse 7 is saying, then we are seeing what the world is saying . I heard someone say it is hard to find meaning in all these fires or make any sense in them.

We where told to be ready and dressed for the wedding everyday, we long to be in the few. We have been in hard evacuation mode for a year now around the world, understand all we are seeing has meaning. We can make sense of everything if when we read the Bible ,we keep the conclusion in mind on every page. We can have the most beautiful home and life on earth , be content and one act of nature take that all away. The things of this world where never to be our happy place. The Return of Jesus is what we where to long for , it is not death but Life,it is not loss but gain. If you are like the person I spoke of and the Return of Jesus is not in your heart first and foremost ,then look at the fires and floods right now and be reminded what the conclusion of earth's story is...

To love The Lord with all our hearts is to long to be in His presence. To love the Lord with all our hearts is to be dressed and ready for what God has prepared...Matthew 22:5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise... Do not be in this crowd , making light of what God has prepared. There will come a time the fires will not stop or be put out. God was to be our first Fireman, He has a hose that can stop all those fires. When we look to the world for answers , for happiness , for safety and for help , He will remind us we where to never make anything in this world before God.
