I sometimes go on the internet to look up verses and am always mindful to post KJV as I trust that interpretation beyond others. However, this time I was not. The wording was clearly changed from the great and terrible day of the Lord to the great and awesome day of the Lord. Many modern translations leave things out and change the wording. For the old testament we can rely on the Torah for the most accurate meaning, but for the new testament we have to rely on the KJV. It would be really interesting to find the Torah's hebrew translation of this verse.  There's no "perfect" Bible. Even the KJV has problems, as there have been MANY older manuscripts found since the KJV was put together. Here's one example 1 Timothy 3:16 is a verse that has been "added to" in newer manuscripts. The oldest ones have "HE was manifested"...not "God". 16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, be- lieved on in the world, received up into glory. The KJV is not without error, but the newer versions change things up so much that unless you really examine them, it is not worth reading.
