Luke 4 :9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:
10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee: 11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone. 12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
I sometimes do unsafe things ,thinking God loves me and nothing will happen. Or how about ,if I do this or that and something happens God allowed it... Today I saw we tempt the Lord in that kind of thinking and disobey Luke 4:9-12.
Jesus is our example and if He did not tempt God then we are not to tempt Him. If you are going into something you know is not safe or dangerous please ask God first if you should go and wait on the answer.
Today I was unhappy with God's answer , it interfered with my plans. I was not afraid of the situation but irritated...The real dangers in this world are when we do not listen to what the Holy Spirit tells us. I learned something new of Him today i am blessed . Ask God about every place you go and every thing you do...

Habakkuk 2:3 - For the vision [is] yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry.
Psalms 37:34 - Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see [it].
Psalms 25:5-9 - Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou [art] the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.
