Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

When Rome changed Sunday as sabbath, it was because, the roman church feared the influence of believers who knew the scriptures, and honoured the Lord , Friday sunset to Saturday sunset.
Great miracles, signs and wonders were done regularly, by the early church, in His name, and obedience to Him and His word in love, and for the first 300 years during the ten great persecutions by Rome, at the cost of their lives, which produced great fruit , and Rome eventually via Constantine, attempted to assimilate and control all religion, especially Christians, and amalgamated them, still evidenced throughout the RCC dominions, by many many pagan activities, all dressed as love and holiness, and renamed with supposed christian saints, and all at the temporal political level, with death and death threats applied.

Shall we excuse Orthodox churches here, no, iconolatry, and lack of Sabbath are hall marks of compromise with the world

Can Christian worship on Sunday, and claim it as the Sabbath, no, at best it can be a small s sabbath, as per Paul saying some treat every day as the Sabbath, it is no excuse or justification to claim pre eminence or dominance of Sunday. Which by definition is a pagan /roman time event, as it starts at midnight 12 pm and ends midnight 12 pm, where His word makes it clear, God says the day starts and ends at sunset,
For truth to be even vaguely claimed, Sunday worshippers, should be starting worship Saturday evening, because, that's when God says a day starts, and all worship concluded by Sunday sunset, which of course is not the case, for most denominations .

What am I saying,

Am I condemning, you, no I am not,
am I saying you cant worship the Lord on Sunday, no I am not,
am saying if you dont use His name as it was actually pronounced, and still is in many places , and instead use a name that has an existence of less than 600 years, that He doesn't hear you, no I am not.

What I am saying is, be like the noble Bereans, check out what I am saying, see if its true or not, and if you think you can prove points wrong, please do, I am always open to being corrected by His Word, and the Holy Spirit.

Also am I telling you to stop fellowship, no I am not
Am telling you to stop praying, no I am not.

Seek Him first, then please go ahead and definitely prove me wrong.

If you can't , prove me wrong, then ask Him for help, He is gracious, loving, and will,
Its no longer time to play with the world and claim its church, we work in the world, but we are not of it.

FLC I never get in the argument of Sunday , I have prayed about it and studied. If we give Him a full day , He knows our hearts. The Bible just says 6 days and 7th so we may have a lot of things wrong but just go with your heart... If Scriptures said Saturday and Sunday rather than 6th day , 7th day then that is a different story...Ask Him what you should do...

I have to ask you family please pray for my dog. He was given a medication that has caused side effect that is now threatening his life. I believe that prayer is powerful and can do miracles. I ask if you please pray for my dog Rocky who I have had since he was 2 mths old. He is 11 now. I ask you to pray for him to recover in Jesus Christ name. Thank you Family.

Prayers for sweet Rocky. Dogs are very dear to my heart. I hope he has a speedy recovery and you have many more happy years with him.

Father,
Your word says, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you".
So, we are asking that you reverse the effects of the medication and provide healing and total recovery for Rocky. In Jesus mighty name we pray.

As to Saturday or Sunday ?

Perhaps we should appreciate ALL that God has created.

On a walk see the trees, flowers, sky, the people and animals that we pass on the street. All these things we very often take for granted.

How wonderful if we treated all seven days as sacred too.

Also bless you dear sister, amen, i am not seeking to pick a fight. What the west calls a day, six or seven, is not the same as what our Lord says a day is, when, or, its start or duration.
Meaning, i do my best to worship, and praise and pray every day as sabbath.

According to Jesus, the only sin that won't be forgiven is blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.

I would like to think that the Sabbath doesn't fall in that category.
