Have not heard from Sharon but she lives in North Carolina and might be experiencing problems from Hurricane Florence my prayers to her and hers and to all here.

I'm still overseas and grateful for your prayers especially today.

I have another prayer request for my brother's family. They are in the town that had the explosions in MA. The gas company has shut off all gas for the towns affected. My brother has a severely handicapped son. He cannot eat except by feeding tube and he cannot walk or talk. They need gas to cook his special foods and gas for hot water to bathe him. Please pray they resolve this gas challenge as many others like my family Really need this.

I have read all your prayer requests and with a heavy heart I am praying Our Lord hears your pain and challenges.

I still have tears for the 26 year old with bone cancer. Ugh.

Please I ask for prayers still for my chest issue it is better but still here, I also ask for prayers for my family it seems like we have been in winter for 20 years and I want spring.

Someone taught me to look every day for teeny tiny miracles. They happen daily but we just don't see them because we are caught up into heavy earthly things. Once you see one, thank God. You will start to see many after that. Your days will then be brighter knowing God is with you always.

We are in a war unseen but things seen are used. Due to yesterday I want to share my journey of living and battling fear. I grew up with a dad that loved his guns and he could be reckless with them ,so I grew up hating them. I thought I feared them but it was more of a hate. I grew up with a dad that feared storms , we where in some really bad ones , so we had a cellar everywhere we lived. I grew up with a dad that loved to be silly and make you afraid in a car . What God did with all that is amazing. I had a gun pointed at me last year and saw I still hate guns and was heartbroken that young man found power in a man made thing. That young person must not fear God and understand His power.

In 2012 I had to face storms in a trailer and no where to go , I saw those cellars did not protect me. I was young when I saw cars , guns, cellars all are tools of the enemy that are used to make us think that is our protection . We where robbed several times and we where told to get a big dog , all those big dogs did not protect us… It was a time in Montana God taught me many things about fear. In Yellowstone you are taught to carry bear mace but when I saw when Allen spray himself and how bad that stuff is, I hated mace. It was a time I went hiking alone in dangerous bear country with no dogs and only a walking stick , I learned Who protects.
We have always lived in a dangerous world. We could never go outside , have guns , alarms , bright lights and all kinds of things that we think keep us safe and maybe they help. There is only One thing that we should place our faith in and that is God. All fear stems from death, Jesus faced that for us. That night when all those men and weapons came to arrest Him, He faced His death and death for us. Of late The Lord has allowed me to see all things and even the most beautiful will die.

We are to not tempt God but try and remember these things. God decided when we where born we had we no say and God will decide when we die. satan will use all kinds of things to try and make us not remember Who created earth and His power.

It is easy to say do not fear but to walk it out is another thing. If that person last year had pulled the trigger and killed me , it was my time. If a tornado had took me in that trailer it was my time. If we had hit that cow head on and died it was my time. Right now in your mind think of Jesus the night of His arrest and all He was going to face. Face your fears as He did with God, knowing God could have sent and Army of Angels.

Jesus paid a huge price for us to not live in fear. King David is a great example as that shepherd in the wild , as that small man against Goliath. I use to think he feared King Saul but what he really feared was God. Teaching of the fear of God has been done away with so we live in the aftermath and seeking safety in man made things. So if you can work on only fearing God , the fear of the world is lessened and satan begins to lose that hold.

A storm , man made weapons , earthquake , floods, meteor and even cancer are tools of satan. In the story of Job we see satan knew what Job feared and used it. If you are afraid of dying satan will use that , if you see dying as death then the Cross has no meaning yet. We are in a war unseen but things we see are used, once we get a better hold on that fear loses it grip…
Face this unkind world with what God gives everything else satan uses to weaken our faith…

We have to put our complete trust in God. He who knows the number of hairs on our head, is Faithful and True.

Dear Heavenly Father , we ask you be with those in the path of this storm and the storm to come help us look up and fix our eyes on You and we come out as You desire in Jesus name amen

What does fear / worry / anxiety accomplish?

NOTHING! It's wasted time / energy / emotion.

And how many times do folks get an answer when they ask God or Jesus..."WHY am I going through this???"

After that, take a look back over your life and examine the times when you were going through something difficult. Take each one, then imagine how EACH could have been even 10 times WORSE than they were.

And didn't the Father or His Son come through for your EACH and EVERY time?

Therefore, when you come to a NEW trial, remember to THANK the Son and His Father for ALL the times they had helped you in the past, AND....CLEARLY state that you TRUST and will CONTINUE to Trust them to see you through this new one!
