Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

One of the hardest things for me to learn and many of us is to pray “His Will be done.” If we listen to our prayers we do not want any storms in our lives. We wanted Flo to go another direction or a different diagnosis. We want people to live and not die , we want , we want , we want. None of us alive right now faced what Jesus faced for us, He prayed , “ Luke 22:42 Saying , Father if thou willing , remove this cup from me : nevertheless not my will , but thine, be done.”

When we have prayed as Jesus did , then no matter the outcome we find Him and His will on the other side. If the storm does not turn or a bad diagnosis then we know we are still Job before Chapter 40. God knows everything we do not even know ourselves ,as Job did not know he had made himself equal to God.
Jesus made this our model when praying for a good reason .Make sure it is not left out when prayers go up before the One that knows the hairs on our heads…Job was called upright, perfect , stayed away from evil and feared God , yet he faced all he faced to come to an understanding of who he was and Who God was and is…Thank You Lord for the story of Job

Lord I ask for nothing but guidance.
I need no earthly things,
But show me the way to you.

While many need help, it is not your task
to chase all their ills away.
Just guide us to what me must do.

The Father hears us too.

I could use a prayer today please ...I had a root canal done on Friday and am still experiencing much pain. I went back to the dentist but she insists it’s normal and healing on schedule.
She put me on antibiotics as a precaution anyway and a sleep aid.
Thanks for the prayers....

She may not have gotten all the nerve out or it could be an infection. The pain should subside once the antibiotics kick in.

Praying for no complications, no pain and a speedy recovery.

I understand exactly, as I have to go back thursday morning to get my root canal finished. The dentist could not complete it as there was still infection in the tooth. It hurt bad for about a week, and now it settled down just in enough time to finish the job, which is going to make it hurt all over again.
You have my prayers, my friend, as a root canal is no picnic.

Prayer Request!

My 12 year old grandson Robbie has an appointment at the Neurologist tomorrow.A few weeks ago he went to the ER as he had a terrible migraine.They found fluid on his brain when he was in the ER.If he still has the fluid, he will need surgery.He is still getting these awful headaches.
Please pray for my grandson !!!

Oh gosh...Yes, prayers for Robbie!

Thankful for all your prayers for my brother and his family. They put the gas back on at his home!!!

This is huge as they have handicapped son, and the gas company in Massachusetts said it would be weeks or months before turn on because of the explosions up there.

Yes, I've had a couple of them..It takes a few days for everything to calm down, but good she put you on antibiotics just in case..

Robbie Update:

He has been put on medicine by the doctor, has to have another MRI, and needs to get his eyes checked as his vision is getting worse. He has to go back to the doctor in 4-6 weeks. So, for right now, no news of any substance.Hopefully the MRI will show the specific problem so it can be treated. Robbie had perfect vision up to when he started to get the horrible migraines earlier this year.
