Prayers needed for my brother Kenny.
The chemo is literally killing him. He has lost more weight, all of his hair except for some fuzz is gone, cannot taste food, in pain, and very weak.It is affecting him all over, no feeling in his hands, hearing loss,short of breath,etc. He cannot even stand for a few minutes to clean his colostomy bag. He is supposed to have 6 more weeks of the chemo.The surgeon had told him only 2 weeks of chemo after the surgery, but the oncologist has Kenny getting 6 months of heavy duty chemo. I told Kenny he needs to tell the doctor no more chemo. I guess the last time he saw the oncologist, the oncologist told him some of the side effects from the chemo may be permanent.
Kenny is so weak and sick, that he didn't go to church this morning. This is the first time in 30 years that he has missed church.
My brother was the picture of health less than a year ago, never got sick, never smoked, never used drugs, ate good, worked out every morning at the community fitness center, played on a baseball team, played tennis, etc. Totally fit and trim like a 20 year old. Now, he looks and feels horrible, to say the least.
