Acts 10 ,is absolutely amazing. We get to see who the Lord speaks to and the different ways. Someone one wrote on my Face Book , you love Face Book. I love anything that can be used for God. We will have to answer for our Face Book page , Matthew 12:36.
So I try to not let it be anything that does not include Him or things that will go into the fire, Mark 8:34-38.
We are in times we fear offending when it comes to the Bible. We are not afraid of offending when it comes to all other things like Politics, satan likes that.
In Acts 10 they did not have Face Book.

“Acts 10:There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band, 2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway. 3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius. 4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God. 5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter.”

Here, Jesus has gone to the Cross and is in Heaven and the Lord sent one of His Angels to give a message, Cornelius obeys .

“Acts 10:9 On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour: 10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance, 11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. 14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean. 15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.”


Here ,The Lord sends a strange vision ,unlike the clear instructions for Cornelius by an Angel. The Lord takes these two messages and brings the message of Salvation to the lost. Cornelius loved God and found favor but he was missing the full message of Salvation, John 14:6.

“Acts 10: 17 Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate.”


The Lord confirms “Galatians 3:28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.”

The Lord can do what He wants , with what and who He wants ,we are the ones that limit Him. He may tell one to go to Africa and be a Missionary. He may tell one to go to Nineveh with one message. He may have one write a book. He may have one sing songs , He decides what we do if we listen. For any person to take that job away from God and decide for others what they should be doing, is in grave danger. Use and do what He has called you to do, man has never had that job. Messages from the Lord come in different ways to different people ,but they only come from the Lord...It may have looked strange to Cornelius to go to Peter , it did looked strange for Peter to eat that strange food.


Face Book is a tool that we can see what people eat , say , wear and are involved in,every minute of the day . Today look at your own Face Book , what is going up before the Lord. Is it what Cornelius was doing with his time? Look at your Face Book if you are calling yourself a child of God , vision what will go into the fire, while today is today.

“Hebrews 3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.”

Exhort in Scriptures is not the same meaning as the worlds meaning. We are to keep each other from the pit of hell , as Peter did for Cornelius...That may seem an unkind post , when in fact it is the only message that matters.
