I have always been intrigued by people that live off the grid. Whether it is a house or life a style I admire the bravery of it.
I have shared before ,but the first person I met in a large city doing this would not take the money I offered. It is the ones I have offered something and they say no , I am most curious about. Years ago I started carrying extra bibles with me to hand out. Every person I have ask living off grid and ask if they need one ,say I have mine.

It was said to me this week ,what has happened to you , you give everything to that God you pray to and have given up on life. Then I was ask how is that working out for you???
I saw a person walking and living off the grid this week. He did not need anything and had his own Bible. That person with missing teeth and a hard life on his face , said may God Bless you, I smiled the rest of the day.

That person was right about me , I have given up on things that are not mine to hold. I do give everything to God I am guilty as charged. I made a terrible mess of things before I did this. I was told , ask anybody you use to take care of things, make people do this or that and help people. I did provide for people needs without the Bible most my life, they are still in need.

Huntington's disease is one of the cruelest disease a person can have, it is called the devil's dance. I use to have a hard time finding God in such an unkind sickness.
If we do not give to God all things and find God in all things, then we do dance with the devil...
At a very young age due to my moms car accident many things did become my responsibility.

Through Huntington's God has shown me what I am responsible for and not all things can I fix and take care of. Through Huntington's ,that has no cure ,God has taught me to give everything to Him.

It is those living off the grid with a Bible, that have no needs, that has taught me the most important thing about helping people . I looked at all the people I helped in the past that did not have or walk with a Bible and took what I offered ,that taught me I was missing the whole message of Jesus. The people Jesus helped did not need help again. My physical resources ran out to help people ,I was never helping them it was in vanity but it made me feel good...

“Luke 22:35 And he said unto them, When I sent you without purse, and scrip, and shoes, lacked ye any thing? And they said, Nothing.”

We are to help people but as Jesus did , a one time gift that keeps on giving , providing and helping. To do anything else is not helping and is not love. Jesus taught Peter and the others this but the teaching got lost over time.
Acts 3:6 Then Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.

The places needing food and water right now even in the US is overwhelming. There is a great message in that alone. We forget Who we say we serve and love .
For more than a month the story of Elijah being fed by God has not left my mind. Please read 1 Kings 17:2-16.

My week has been kinda hard ,but a man with only a back pack and Bible made it much better, that is what God can do with a simple smile and words. No one or anything is my responsibility outside of what Peter did in Acts 3:6. satan whispered for years something else...We help those as in Job 42 , when Job understood who God was.

God takes care of those who have need of necessities. The Elijah, Apostles "trip" and even Hagar / Ishmael "stories" are but ancient proof of that.

"Off the grid" Believers are just one example of that in modern times. On the Kurt Goff / Moody radio show I listen to, there are contstant testimonies of folks who have lost everything, yet miraculous things happen once they "put it in God's or Jesus' hands".

I myself went over the last 8+ years without a job/ paycheck, but through various programs and Ebay sales, I was provided with my needs. If I look back over the course of my life, I was ALWAYS provided for, even though I was a "lost" Believer, never praying nor giving thanks.

It's why I always remind you folks to also look back when you start going through some "new" / continuing trial, as it's easy for many to worry versus realizing that God and His Son have been there for us numerous times in the past....

...and STILL are!

Trust them!
