Thank you GFG, although I came to Christ and God in my own way via Q...it is in this thread where I feel Communion. I may hold some 'heretical' beliefs but you have never once balked at them.

Praying for you white wolf...I know the feeling... about working and leaving my husband at home...he has a feeding tube...I sincerely pray you are able that you are able to stay at home...It is my hope as well...

Thanks to each and every one of you that prayed for my friend having the MRI. Results come on Monday.

WhiteWolf, praying that you will have substantial resources to care for your mother, keep her safe, spare your health, and give you respite. Is she eligible for a caregiver paid by a government program for those with few assets? With the caregiver would come other assistance, such as meals, prescriptions with no co-pay, and other benefits. Worth looking into.

This thread is being attacked unlike anytime I have been a member we are in evil times. I have been watching for these to start showing up because that is about all we lack for end days ...pray , pray , pray

Goofy for God, I am so sorry you and this thread are suffering these attacks and yes, we are in evil times. The more we are obedient to God, the more we are attacked, generally. I am blessed that this thread exists on this site, where so many object to any mention of God or true spirituality. You have been faithful for a long time, as I remember you from some years ago. Don't give up and don't let go. There may well be thousands or more who don't register, don't post, but are here with us, in agreement with us, praying with us.

I pray for the needs of each person who posts here, that God would meet and exceed those needs, to bless you and to make you a blessing to others. In the Mighty Name of Jesus, Amen

The Lord has taught me that is not my job and He directs and corrects , the Holy Spirit teaches . One day we are all going to see Truth until then we have the Holy Scriptures and the Holy Spirit may we learn together .

There was pure evil this week telling us to convert to Islam , I have never seen that before, truly we are in evil times

GLP many times is like family and I have seen them help me and others . There is good and bad everywhere from a forum to our homes. About 3 weeks ago the Holy Spirit told me to get on the armor and it has been confirmed from here to home.

Corruption is used different in our culture but here it is death and decay of the body. Peter was preaching to those that loved God but not His Son and refers back to Psalm where they knew Jesus was coming.


I grew up being taught about Jesus so I can read the Bible and see Him in every chapter. My heart hurts for those that the enemy has blinded and cant see not only see Him in the Psalms but in these places.

Today lets pray for those that love God but have not found Jesus and many Saul's be turned into Paul's today.

I thank God He sent a better way to see Him one day, I fail on a grand scale everyday trying to live up to the way before Jesus.

For over 10 years I have called my mom everyday. I love her very much and have lost enough people in my life to know, one day I will not have that connection. We should talk to people we love often and God daily in some form . I use to talk to God only when I needed something. I know what it is like to get a call from someone, only when they need something. You dread it and that kind of call is hurtful. I hurt God many years for making Him my need and not my want. We should look at our lives and see if we only talk to people or God when we need something? God does want us to give our needs to Him but one of the most abused and misunderstood verses is , Luke 11:9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. “

We can be very selfish people and not even know it , I certainly was blind how selfish I was. If it is a person or God that you only talk to them when you need something , stop. Talk to God and people without a need , just out of love. Talk to God and tell Him all you are thankful for without one request, it is life changing.

In Luke 11 He does give , He does open ,if it Glorifies His name, if it draws us closer to Him. It is all about Him, life was never about anything else. If you are who I was and only talk to God with a need , today change that...

The people in Numbers where a very needy and ungrateful . They where not happy God took them from the abuse of slavery . Moses had to intercede for them time and time again. We do not read they where thankful but went to Moses every time they had a complaint or need. We do not want to be these people wondering in the wilderness, we want to be found singing...

Acts 16:25But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
Jesus intercedes for us as well , what is He hearing from us??? I had neighbors long ago that came to my house daily needing something. I learned to not answer the door or say no. Our relationship with God can be seen in our relationship with people ...How we treat people can be seen how we treat God, self examine today while we have today... If you have a hard time at first find and good Christian song and sing it to Him. I use to go to music to make me feel better but to sing to Him it is a whole new level of love...

Once I understood the suggestion to "Fluff up your attitude of gratitude", it opened whole new ways of thinking.

As I learned to think over the past and thank God for everything He had done, the Holy Spirit began to show me the things He had prevented, about which I had been blissfully unaware at the time. He prevented so many bad things from happening, and I just went about my days, not realizing what "almost" happened, had He not intervened.

Further, I began to thank Him for many prayer requests He said "no" to! Looking back, I can honestly say I am so thankful He did not give me this or that which I earnestly prayed for at the time, but which would have been disastrous for me and I would have had to pray to get rid of these things and situations I thought at the time were my heart's desires.

Today I am thankful He is in charge. I want obedience more than I want anything else, and to have Him in charge of my life is the most precious thing possible. He provides everything I need, even things I didn't realize I need, as long as I leave it all to Him.

Every day is an adventure with the Lord Jesus, letting Him be in control and following His promptings, moving according to the Spirit, not the flesh.

I'm thankful for every person here, and also for those who do not appear in text, who have no nickname, but are here just the same, reading, praying, seeking. Know that you are in the right place at the right time. Trust God.
