Numbers 14:2 And all the children of Israel complained against Moses and Aaron, and the whole congregation said to them, “If only we had died in the land of Egypt! Or if only we had died in this wilderness!



For over 10 years I have called my mom everyday. I love her very much and have lost enough people in my life to know, one day I will not have that connection. We should talk to people we love often and God daily in some form . I use to talk to God only when I needed something. I know what it is like to get a call from someone, only when they need something. You dread it and that kind of call is hurtful. I hurt God many years for making Him my need and not my want. We should look at our lives and see if we only talk to people or God when we need something? God does want us to give our needs to Him but one of the most abused and misunderstood verses is , Luke 11:9 “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. “

We can be very selfish people and not even know it , I certainly was blind how selfish I was. If it is a person or God that you only talk to them when you need something , stop. Talk to God and people without a need , just out of love. Talk to God and tell Him all you are thankful for without one request, it is life changing.

In Luke 11 He does give , He does open ,if it Glorifies His name, if it draws us closer to Him. It is all about Him, life was never about anything else. If you are who I was and only talk to God with a need , today change that...

The people in Numbers where a very needy and ungrateful . They where not happy God took them from the abuse of slavery . Moses had to intercede for them time and time again. We do not read they where thankful but went to Moses every time they had a complaint or need. We do not want to be these people wondering in the wilderness, we want to be found singing...

Acts 16:25But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.
Jesus intercedes for us as well , what is He hearing from us??? I had neighbors long ago that came to my house daily needing something. I learned to not answer the door or say no. Our relationship with God can be seen in our relationship with people ...How we treat people can be seen how we treat God, self examine today while we have today... If you have a hard time at first find and good Christian song and sing it to Him. I use to go to music to make me feel better but to sing to Him it is a whole new level of love...
