Quoting: Goofy for God There are times like today when I have to work hard, to not totally freak out at God's timing. Many may not know but starting yesterday in the evening, the area of Greece is having constant earthquakes the largest was a 6.8. Acts 16 as some know ,is one of my favorite passages to show how an earthquake brought Salvation to a family. The other earthquake is at the Cross of Jesus, when some come to believe. How amazing is God with the timing of this reading this morning and all those earthquakes in that area . That is what God does if we watch and listen. Macedonia and Greece are important in Scriptures. Revelation came about on the Island of Patmos. Earthquakes are an end time event and Jesus draws our attention to them in Matthew 24, Mark 13 and Luke 21. We can see the faith in Paul during that earthquake ,that shook the foundations of that prison. I pray we can be encouraged by this story and not fear. God has always used His creations for His purpose , we are the ones that forgot as Job did , Who He is ,compared to who we are...We do not know what the day holds , but know the One that does... Luke 21:11 And there will be great earthquakes in various places, and famines and pestilences; and there will be fearful sights and great signs from heaven. |

Jesus came to give us, among other things, peace. Peace of the spirit, soul, heart, mind. There is no peace where accusations are taking place. Dear God in Heaven, please take charge of "current events" and stop the hating. We who belong to You apologize for what others of Your creation are doing right now. We claim Your peace for ourselves, and ask that it be shared with those who are so wildly upset, so ready to do battle. Today as I was led to Psalm 127 ,not knowing who wrote it or what it said , I thanked the Lord for” Matthew 7:7Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.” The Holy Spirit moved me today to write about construction , children and the ones on His left to come to the right side. What an amazing Psalm to cover all those things, God truly is amazing. We are in a time of His harvest and we want to be found on the right side of all this. “Matthew 24:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left. “ Here in America we have an entire system built on construction. I was in Real Estate and saw the process. The hands and paper work just to buy empty land is overwhelming. One of the first instructions to build in Scriptures was the Ark, found in Genesis 6-9. God was very detailed in how to build it. God was our first builder and architect. He knew exactly what would keep Noah and all that where in the Ark safe from that storm. The things God had man build in the Bible where of amazing architecture. We know from the storms over the last century , sometimes all that is left is the foundation. People have had to start over many times from Noah to today. Ecclesiastes 3 ,tells us there is a time to do the opposite of everything we do. “Ecclesiastes3 :5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; 6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away.” Not sure when but we stopped following Psalm 127 and Ecclesiastes 3. When we do not listen , God will make us listen. We are in a time to do the opposite of what we have been doing. God knew exactly what would keep Noah safe and He knows what will keep our souls safe. We can not find the Ark Noah built because it was about souls. I just read “Acts 16:36 And the keeper of the prison told this saying to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace. 37 But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privily? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.” Most of us would be so happy to get out of there and go in peace. Paul knew Who he belonged to. Paul did the opposite of what most of us would have done. A child of God never looks or acts as the world looks and acts. It is a time to do the opposite of all we have been doing that is in vain. Ask God what and when to build , this was always His planet and He knows things we do not... |

She still has the cough, but her heart sounds the best it has in a long time. When I let her out this morning, she flew over the two stairs and took off at high speed chasing a bird. Then she did a happy little trot around the yard. I'm so happy to see her doing better. I love her so much. I will have her tested again in a little while. For those that don't know, she has chronic adenovirus, which is respiratory and hepatitis, stumbling, and she was in danger of bleeding out from low platelets.
