There are many strange doctrines and we where told there would be,one of those is about dying.

We are to die to self and the world while our bodies are alive , to have eternal life with The Lord. The Cross is always the best place to go when there is confusion about life and death.

There are so many testimonies and people that have been in the news of late, they are vital for us...
The first is the people that survived the Vegas shooting but died in the Thousand Oaks shooting. The very area that faced the fires right afterwards. The other is a lady that survived two Hurricanes one was Irma in 2017 and had just moved to Paradise Ca., to start over.

From her tent home outside the fire zone ,she said these words, I will take one day at time and ask the Lord to provide daily. She had an amazing attitude and shared that attitude around that tent city of sorrows.
In many ways this young lady is better off than all of us in our comfortable homes today. Jesus gave stern warnings about people carrying on as if tomorrow was coming or being busy with the cares of the world , Luke 17 is a must read.

Revelation 22 is the last chapter in the Bible and two times in red letters are the words , “I come quickly.”

The people in the shootings had no warning and the people asleep at 3am in Paradise ,had little or no warning. That is what it will be like at His return.

Most of us reading this are not in tents depending on the Lord to provide daily but that is how Jesus told us to live.
None of us know when we will be in the wrong place at the wrong time and take our last breath. None of us know when God will send Jesus.

Today imagine you have 1 hour to prepare for His return. Imagine you are that lady that survived Irma and now escaped Paradise Ca. Being comfortable and not depending on the Lord daily is the scariest place to be, Luke 17. The warnings in the entire Bible are clear. Revelation 22 gives a small list of what will not enter those Gates.
“Revelation 22:14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. 15 For without are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and idolaters, and whosoever loveth and maketh a lie.”

For dog lovers like myself , dogs is a term used for nonbelievers or false teachers. There is a long list of what is not allowed in those Gates in 2 Timothy and Romans . We are to long to do His commandments and not have that “do enter list,” in our lives.
We only have to look at the aftermath of Hurricane Michael, the fires in California or the hungry in Yemen to be thankful this is not our ending but the beginning .

“Revelation 21: 1And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. 2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. 3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. 4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.”

“Revelation 22:3And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him.”


Those verses are why we live day to day depending on the Lord . If these words are not number one in our lives “Even so, come, Lord Jesus, “ then we are the people in Luke 17. Do not let all that has happened since August 2017 go in vain. Do not let all the lives that have gone before us since August 2017 go in vain. Listen to the Holy Spirit right now. The Lord is showing us many things of late and one is, how we just go back to business as usual over and over.

He is showing us how hard headed and stiff necked we can be. We do not know if the people prayed and ask God if they should go to Thousand Oaks that day. We do not know if that lady ask God after Irma if she should move to Paradise. We do know she is now a witness to those that escaped that horrific fire. She gave glory to God from her tent after losing all she had a second time. There is only One true Paradise and it is not found on earth...

My life belongs to the Lord , I ask him before I even go to the park, He knows things we do not. Do not act as if your life is yours and always ask the Only One that knows what is best. Listen to the Holy Spirit over anything or anyone one right now...Ask the Lord if Monday comes what is priority. Ask the Lord if we are build , go or do what is on our schedule. Ask Him what is on His schedule...

Dear Heavenly Father , help us this very day live day to day , depending and asking You to provide the direction and needs , help us not be the people in Luke 17 , help us see and understand the testimonies of the people in tribulation right now ,yet calling on Your name , help us not do anything or go anywhere starting right now ,without asking You first and waiting on Your answer , help us do this on our own and not forced to by the tribulation of this life , help us long for what You want , Come Lord Jesus Come in Jesus name we ask amen...
