Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

Prayers said for all.

I have a prayer request for two good friends of mine. The first is my friend Millie, who runs the food pantry at her church. She is 86 years old, and doesn't drive. For the past 2 years, I have been giving her a ride on monday mornings to her church so she can help others.I got a call at 7am. She had to be rushed to the hospital this morning, as she was having a very hard time breathing. Millie has been running the food pantry at her church for close to 40 years. She has literally helped thousands of people. Please pray that she will bounce back and continue to do what she does best, help others.

I have another friend, S.P., who has had some scary medical situations the past couple of years. Now they are dealing with memory loss, and reportedly they are slowly dying, getting a bit weaker every day.I do believe it is a heart problem complicated by diabetes. They have cut off all contact with just about everyone, except me. We had breakfast Friday morning, and the conversation got quite ugly about every friend and even family.Even a few barbs were thrown my way. S.P. wants no one to care for them, wants no one to say they are praying for them, etc.They have recently told off many people for slights or perceived slights, that have occurred years ago. Without warning, has blocked most everyone's email or phone calls.I couldn't believe this is coming from a person who was so kind, so full of Faith,so strong. I believe this is what is known as the "Dark Night of the Soul". My friend needs Peace and the Healing of their soul.Please pray !

Dear Heavenly Father , we ask Your name be heard in Iran and they understand Who shakes the earth, we ask You be with the innocent and help us see You in this war zone in Jesus name we pray amen

Dear Heavenly Father , we first lift up Millie for healing in the way You want her healed and bless her mission , let who You want to fill in and the enemy have no power , we also lift up SP for healing of body, soul and Spirit and the enemy lose power this very day , we thank You for Tiger and all You do with her bless her home in Jesus name amen

Millie was admitted to the hospital. She is very weak. I will update when I hear something.
She has not quite been right since she had that minor stroke earlier this year. The last couple of mondays she has complained about dizziness, but still insisted on going to the pantry.Last monday she was so dizzy and weak, I thought I was going to have to help her get in the door to the church, but she, as stubborn as she is, told me she would do it herself, and she did.

Romans 8:6 For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. 8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. 24 For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? 25But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.

Paul that wrote Romans 8, had to literally go blind to see. Romans 8 is all about the Spirit and the warnings are strong. Everything , even hope can not be seen in the Spirit world of God.

We live in a very visual world, but everything about God is Spirit. I hate the lies told that it is easy to please and follow God , it is not. Earth is a testing ground , how ironic we base our entire lives on test. We must pass test from Pre-K to College but the only one that really matters is God's. Since the Garden humans have been trying to obey God, that we can not seen. He is so Holy and powerful we would die in these human bodies to look at Him.

“Genesis 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. “

He longs for us to obey and walk in the Garden with Him. There was one rule in the Garden and humans are so weak compared to God ,we can not obey without the Spirit of God. That is why God sent His only Son. Today I was reminded how hard I worked for and at my moms , yet I did not want to work that hard for God.

From schools, business and church Romans 8 was to be our goal. All that was and is taught and done outside of Romans 8 , outside of the purpose of God ,will perish. Do you know a school , business or church that is all Spirit minded ,that believes and follows Romans 8?
“Romans 8: 9But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, He is none of His. “

Wow , that is just a scary verse in this carnal world. I lived in the world of flesh and tried to keep God in my pocket when I needed Him. We are either Spirit or not, there is no middle ground. Schools of carnal education are teaching death, business's that are carnal are selling death, carnal churches are spreading death.

Romans 8 is very clear what life and death are, what is seen and not seen and how to be a child of God...
We have become desensitized when it comes to death. satan has been very clever in how he has used movies, games , books , education and even our cars. Death on this earth is nothing compared to the death spoken of in Romans 8. Life without God on this threshing floor can be unbearable.
Having to spend eternity with everything we hate on this planet is what many will do. We have to take our lives and walks with God more seriously.

A child of 6 ask me why I prayed so much. This child spends 9 hours of his day ,where Romans 8 is not allowed. Out of my 5 days of hard work and care this past week ,the answer I gave that child is all that mattered.
Look today at where the Spirit is and is not. Look where Romans 8 is and where it is not. Pray every person and child can see Romans 8 in day in someone...

“Revelation 22:12-14And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be. 13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last. 14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.”

GFG, Thank you for your daily devotionals. Romans 8 is a chapter I have spent a lot of time with in my life, and this was sooo helpful!

There is so much that is disturbing in this world today and in other threads here....I am grateful for this thread and all those who pray here...it does feel like the smell of flowers!
