"wrong thing" was probably not the right way of putting it. I did not mean you were sinning. I meant that perhaps God wishes you to do something other than what you have been doing. Usually when we are in the perfect center of His perfect will for us, it is easy and smooth and goes perfectly. When we are struggling against people and situations we often shouldn't be trying to do whatever we are trying to do.

God will lead you. :) He knows your heart, that you want to be obedient and to serve Him as much as possible.

Genesis2 : 5 And every plant of the field before it was in the earth, and every herb of the field before it grew: for the Lord God had not caused it to rain upon the earth, and there was not a man to till the ground.
Genesis 3:17And unto Adam he said, Because thou hast hearkened unto the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, of which I commanded thee, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it: cursed is the ground for thy sake; in sorrow shalt thou eat of it all the days of thy life; 18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field.


The Lord is truly amazing and we only have to look at a beautiful plant or garden to see this.

We make flower beds and put all kinds of things together to try and create something beautiful. There are some plants that grow large and stand alone above all other plants. When we plant a flower bed we need to know what will grow well together. We would never plant a thorn or thistles on purpose anywhere. Some weeds are pretty it is hard to tell that they are weeds , until they take over the good plants.

In Genesis 2 we see a perfect Garden and then we get to Genesis 3 because of something that looked good... Those thorns and thistles represent sin in our lives. We now have to work hard to keep thorns, weeds and any unwanted plant out of our gardens. We have to work just as hard to keep sin out of our lives.
When we do not keep weeds, thorns or thistles out of our gardens, they will take over and sin is no different.

Without realizing it ,we have allowed thorns and thistles in our gardens and lives and have tried to live side by side. Every time we pull a weed , thorn or thistle we where to stop and remember why we have them. Everything God created was to remind us of Him, even thorns and thistles.

Jesus wore a crown of thrones for us to remember this as well, no coincidences in God's Kingdom. We where never meant to live the the system that we now have. We as followers of Jesus Christ are to not have these things in our lives.

When I was a child we walked the fields all day to remove unwanted plants. My mom taught us to not leave a root of what we chopped. If we left the roots , weeks later we would go back and those plants where bigger and stronger.

We left the system Jesus ask us to follow and the thorns and thistles are taking over. We left the system God created with Adam, that was to remind us to keep sin out of our lives.
We no longer walk fields to remove unwanted plants as I did in my youth. We removed ourselves from that system and created our own.

Every generation is a field , garden or flower bed that gets harvested . We have the choice to follow Jesus as He told us or be in the thorns and thistles, we can not survive doing both , Jesus was very clear. The Whole Word of God is our instruction book of what to plant and what grows together.

If we live in a bed of thistles and thorns we will be consumed. We only have to look at the news to see , we are...
God told us what to grow together and what to keep out...

To be in the presence of our Creator, that made that perfect Garden, is our hope in this land of thistles and thorns...Those thistle and thorns that represent sin will not be allowed in His presence , know what those are in a time of lukewarm , tickling of ears and bad dust...
It is easy to tell what a thistle and thorn is , it is those pretty weeds that we pause to pull out that cause the real problem.
Jesus called them wolves in sheep's clothing …
John 10:12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

Jesus paid a heavy price for us to not be in a bed of bad plants...

John 4 :34 Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work. 35 Say not ye, There are yet four months, and then cometh harvest? behold, I say unto you, Lift up your eyes, and look on the fields; for they are white already to harvest. 36 And he that reapeth receiveth wages, and gathereth fruit unto life eternal: that both he that soweth and he that reapeth may rejoice together.

This brought back a memory from my childhood

We had a 400 acre farm, and on the west side of the house was a small "pine grove" with a large field just on the other side.

One year it was planted with something (alfalfa maybe), but Dad had seen that there was quite a few "wild mustard" plants in the field.

Dad offered a penny a plant for all that I pulled up.

In a few hours the next day, I had well over 1000!

Dad was shocked...and since we weren't "well off", money was tight and he didn't think he'd be able to pay me the $10 - $15.

I don't remember if he did or not. All I remember for some reason is not being angry nor disappointed.

Prayers said for those in need. I pray those who struggle find their path. I pray for those who mourn their loved one who is no longer on this earth, may they find solace in knowing his struggle is over. I pray for our enemies that they find the straight path that leads to the narrow door and enter through to Jesus's calling.

In Jesus's Great and Holy name...….Amen

On a side note I read yesterday the planet Saturn's rings are disappearing. I'm not sure how credible this news is however Saturn is the heavenly body that represents Satan and could be prophetically significant. If you did not know that Saturn is Satans planet I would urge you to look it up.

Hey everyone. I've been absent for a very good and scary reason. I have just now gotten home from the hospital. I presented to the ER early Monday morning with 103.6 fever and was in acute hypoxic respiratory failure really just hours after my last post here. I am so thankful that I am already out. I was diagnosed with leukocytosis, atypical pneumonia, and hypoxia.

Thank the Lord for the prayer network of my family. I so wished I could access GLP to get a request in for you guys to start praying, but I only really access GLP from a home computer.

You guys were in my thoughts constantly and I really realized when I was scared as I was how much I missed you guys and wished I could have had contact with you all.

Just wanted you all to know the reasons for my absence and how much I missed all of you!
