Praying for this sad, sad situation. It is a good reminder to all of us that we don't know when our time might come. Good to stay prayed up always and in a state of forgiveness.

Bless you, dear one! So sorry you were very ill, and thankful with you that you are home again and much improved! How are you feeling now?

Could you arrange your cellphone now so that you could contact us that way if ever you need to again? Or I would gladly give you my email address and could carry messages to the prayer list if that would be easier.

I've been following a thread tonight which I deliberately am not going to post here because it contains foul language, blasphemy, and other things that are difficult to read.

I want to ask all the pray warriors here to pray with me, if you would, for every member of GLP that does not know the Lord, and does not even know enough about God to speak respectfully of Him.

I believe this is pure ignorance, not malice. I am praying for them to have a Damascus Road experience, to come to see the Lord as real, to understand God is worthy of all respect.

I do hope you will join me in this. Thank you.

I surely pray that these people who have no idea who God is, and think Jesus is a historical character or a joke - they need so desparately to know the Lord, and time is short. I'm frightened for them in their ignorance, and because they will be punished for blasphemy if they don't come to Jesus and repent.

Picture GLP if it were all Christians - wouldn't that be wonderful?

We live in a world where we have made everything we do and build for convenience , comfortable, enjoyable and keeps us from danger.
We have built an entire system to keep us from danger, from roads , to experiencing danger but being safe , like a roller coaster.
There are many religions and people in general that has done away with hell. Look at us , why on earth would we even want to believe in such a thing. We certainly do not want to be reminded of it ,much less talk about it at Christmas , right ??? Some of the nicest people I know believe there is no hell. There will be many that are saying really , you are talking about hell at Christmas ,a time of fun and joy.

The birth of Jesus Christ we are suppose to be celebrating right now , we have turned into many things. We only have to go to Mall to see some of what we have done with it.
I personally love the Lights , Music and Joy this time of the year can bring.

Jesus was born , suffered , died and rose to keep us out of hell. We could not follow one rule in the Garden of Eden much less all those afterwards. We can not teach , preach or share the Birth of Jesus Christ without talking about hell ,because He did.

“Luke 3: 9And now also the axe is laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore which bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire. “

Good fruit was sharing the Whole Word of God and to keep people from being cast into the lake of fire.

The system we have created ,crept into our walks with God. God created a system to keep us from the dangers of hell fire. Jesus is very clear it is not easy , comfortable or even fun. We only have to look at His life , the life of Paul and Peter and all those before us , to see it was not an easy or fun. The pleasure and joy of this life was to be able to share the beginning and the end of the Bible and to spend eternity in Heaven. King Solomon and Jesus told us to stay away from the pleasures of this life, it got the people in trouble in the past and does now.

We have been in charge of many things for a long time. We have created all kinds of earthly pleasures and even made danger fun. We made Christmas fun and enjoyable and Easter fun and enjoyable. Where is that in Scriptures , where was it in the teachings of Jesus ?
In a time to make wishes , I wish hell was not real but it is. I wish Jesus did not have to be born in that uncomfortable manger but He was. I wish Jesus did not have to be rejected , suffer and die on that Cross to save us but He did.. These are not things we would create to keep us from the danger of hell fire or any danger.

Many nice and loving people , that do wonderful deeds are in danger of hell. Take time to really see why Jesus was born and why He went to the Cross.
We spend a lot of money, time and energy to keep our earthly bodies safe , have fun and be comfortable. We were to spend money , time and energy to keep our souls and Spirits from danger.

That is why Jesus was born... We were left the greatest gift anyone could receive , The Holy Spirit of God.” satan has whispered something else. There is nothing in a Mall or in the world that can top that gift.


“Proverbs 27:20 Hell and destruction are never full; so the eyes of man are never satisfied.”
Murder , suicide is in the news way to much every Christmas season, why is that? We created a system of expectation that was outside of why Jesus was born. Judas shows us what happens when we go outside of why Jesus was born, suffered , died and rose for us.

This will not be popular in our time of feel good, our feel good does not come from this world ,in fact it places us in danger. Careful loved ones , read the Birth of Jesus Christ all the way to His death and why He even came. Jesus left us a good example of hell in Luke 16, read it and tell people why Jesus was really born for us...

Mark 9 is harsh but shows us how serious our walks with God should be ,in a time satan says , pleasure , fun, comfortable and easy!

The man that lived in the expensive house that looks like all the others and had the nice cars ,did what Judas did. Jesus was not born in a 5 star Inn with the best Doctors. Jesus did not have an earthly home for a reason. Jesus rode a donkey not the best of transportation. Jesus sent His followers out with little the world offered for a reason. If that man had understood why Jesus was born what Christmas is really about , he would have never followed Judas , He would have followed Jesus.

Good day brothers and sisters. I ask for you prayers for a friend of mine, his name is Dean. His wife is suffering from heart complications and his health insurance will not cover it so he is struggling. He is a retired pastor and I can see the dismay and hardship in his eyes. I pray our Lord take care of this man and his wife and may she stay with him a little longer.

I run across this all to often here on GLP. It reminds me daily of the reality of the world we reside temporarily in and of the ruler of this present darkness.

I pray Jesus manifest's himself to this person and these people so they may know, be convicted of and repent of the error of their ways.

Oh that is sad. It seems there is a lot that insurance companies don't want to pay for as of late. Will keep them both in my prayers.
