Yesterday was a lovely day ... clear blue sky and I decided to go for a long walk along the river. There was barely anyone about. I was all wrapped up in The Holy Spirit, and Gods wonderment.

I texted a friend to tell him of this and he responded...
'sounds like you are living out Colossians 3 verse 1 and 2 to start the year!'



Colossians 3:1-2

If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Praying for all that are in need.

God is shaking the foundations of the churches around the world. If a church was formed , built or stands on anything other than what Genesis to Revelation teaches it is corrupt. We where warned and instructed over and over of what the churches foundations where to be built on. I am blessed that I was not indoctrinated in any man made denomination. Many generations alive right now , either built or was part of building a church.
If we can not follow 1 Timothy 6:5 we are going to church for the wrong reasons. God knows all things from Genesis to 2019. He knew what would happen when we allowed anything in that was not of Him.
The church was never meant for business gains. It was never meant for us to own and to do what we want. It was never meant to make us have authority over worldly things or have power over people.
It was to be the main Source of Power ,the main Source of Light , the main Source of Truth. It was to have a foundation that could not be shook. It was to be the one place people could go and the world was not there. Read Proverbs 25...

Luke 12:33 Sell that ye have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approacheth, neither moth corrupteth.

If we have anything that is in our church or lives that is corrupt , He is calling us to get rid of it. Why on earth would we want anything this world offers that would keep us from our treasurers in Heaven.

Praying for all and praying for the youth. So many children, teens and young adults that I have come in contact with lately are lost.

I, like you, started life in a Bible-preaching church. I remember to this day drawings that were put on the felt board, teaching the exact stories as they are in the BIble, when I was four or five years old. I attended that church, nondenominational community church, til in my teens when I was drawn to a Pentecostal church. We were both blessed to have such a start in life.

You are so right about churches and denominations picking and choosing what they will teach and preach, and coming down on members for the oddest things. The old churches are now sometimes called "fire and brimstone" preaching - but I think we need more of that - not how we will be rich if we pray a certain way - that is NOT of God at all. He did not promise us earthly riches but spiritual ones - the only kind that matter.

You didn't feel well right after the last trip, too - perhaps you become overtired there and susceptible to bugs? Praying recovery for you.

Please pray for my friend. He’s only in his early 40’s, but has developed diabetes, possible lung issues from having 50 pack years, high blood pressure, depression, loneliness, isolation, and addiction to nicotene (snuff) and Diet Coke. He may have mental issues, but please pray for him, he’s a truck driver driving at all hours all over the place for weeks at a time. He’s going to change jobs soon so he can be home more, but please pray he will find God somehow and find joy. He also hasn’t had another girlfriend since high school and not many friends. This person truly deserves love, peace and some happiness, I went to school with him so remember him as a young boy, he looks 60 or older now it breaks my heart, he is heartbroken, lost etc but funny creative to

And please pray for me, I’m losing my mind because my husband works out of town 3-4 months at a time and he says this year will be more, I’m just so lonely please pray I will find friends that aren’t based on drinking. Please pray I will be my happy self again, I am 39 female. Also please pray to repair my damaged family relationships.. I too am heartbroken by my siblings lack of inquiry and care about me. I just don’t exist for anyone, and my one girl friend ditched me because I’m not “fun” enough for her, I don’t drink.
