...I live in a place that the Spirit is dead , the environment is toxic physically and Spiritually. Most days the only encouragement I get is here. My husband is mad at God and all my brothers and sisters in Christ have left the local churches and driving different places. Yet the Lord has me here  Quoting: Goofy for God You are one of the remnant, GFG. Hang in there ! I can fathom what you are going through, because it is the same here. Everyone has turned their back on God, except for my brother Kenny.He is starting to question the denomination he is in, which is a good thing, IMO. He has to go for retests next week to see if the cancer is back.His guts still are not working like they should. Please keep him in your prayers. I have to hide to pray. I cannot do it openly as I will be ridiculed by my husband. So, when I walk Jewel, I pray. I get up an hour earlier than everyone else, so I can pray in peace. During the day, when I am not walking Jewel, I pray silently in everything I am doing, whether it be housework, laundry, or other chores. Do not fret over the toxic environment, GFG, as God is with you always. You are being refined in the fire of persecution. You will make it through this, my friend. This may sound a little "off", and it's a difficult thing to understand for folks who have the "need" for human acceptance, friendship etc.... ...BUT... ...make God and His Son your VERY best friends.    :Psalm91 4: Praying for you both and prayers going up for Kenny.
