Deuteronomy 32:32 For their vine is of the vine of Sodom, and of the fields of Gomorrah: their grapes are grapes of gall, their clusters are bitter.
Matthew 12:50 For whosoever shall do the will of my Father which is in heaven, the same is my brother, and sister, and mother.
Luke 9:61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow thee; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house. 62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
Luke 2:49 And He said to them, “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?”

If you have not read Deuteronomy 32 in while , read it, it is the song of Moses. There are vine plants that become so twisted around each other and thick you can not separate them. Our lives can be the same way. We know from John 15 there is only one true Vine we are to be part of. We have strong warnings from Jesus what is not fit for the Kingdom of God.

Moses is a great example of Matthew 12:50. He became the son of Pharaoh’s daughter but left whose son he bacme. Read Exodus 2 and 3 and see how and why Moses became comfortable with his family life when God called him away.
If we become comfortable and twisted together like vines with anyone or place other than Jesus first, then we will find it hard to let go of things that God may call us away from.
Jesus gave home , family and friends a new meaning. Jonah shows us in going to Nineveh ,a place that was not his comfortable home and family life , many things. Those people did not see an outsider they saw a person of the God and stopped and left what they had been doing.
Most of us are blessed to not have to bid farewell to our home , family and friends. Jesus is very clear if we love anything or person including our family more than Him, we are not fit for Heaven. If we are still attached to a vine that could be found in Sodom it is time to break free.

Jesus reminds us what happens if we even look back when we are told not to.
“Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.”
Today is a good day to look at anything or one we love more than God. He is gathering His sheep hard and fast. If we truly love God and He calls us out of our comfort zone, as He did Moses and Jonah , we can not even argue as Moses or Jonah did... I was convicted to not even have my name associated with a church that I loved the people there. That was not easy to do. It was easier for me because I never was never allowed to get comfortable in one place growing up. It is those that have lived in the same place for generations that needs our prayers. One day we are all going to a new Home , and we where to never get comfortable here...Nothing and I mean nothing or no one is ever worth not being a part of the Kingdom of Heaven.
I saw two small miniature dachshund puppies this week. Even if you do not like dogs there is nothing more precious then to watch them play. It came to me , it is not those puppies that warmed my heart but the Creator that made them. Please examine today anyone or thing that would keep us from such an amazing King.
We are in serious times where the people are gather in great numbers to hear the ten commandments no longer matter ,to build new monuments and very strange doctrines. Please listen to the Holy Spirit and read the KJ Bible everyday.
There was no greater mother than Mary or God would have not choose her. Jesus left without looking back and said this.
“Luke 23:28 But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.”

Following Jesus is the most serious thing we will do with our life.

Dear Papa, I come before you in the name of your Son Yeshua.
I want to lift up all the Intercessors you have here on this thread.
We need you to show us exactly how to pray for those of us who are sick or hurting or need council from you the Wise King.
We need you to hear us when we pray. We need your miracle working power to flow through us. Bless our efforts, open our mouths and we will declare your praise.
Holy Spirit I ask that our ears and heart receive any teaching that you have for us today,

Dear Jesus, we know our Father created all living creatures, including dogs, which are so precious to us. They are a gift you gave us that exhibit pure love. Please protect and care for this sweet little dog. Give the vet wisdom over the health care, and raise up the little guy's or gal's health to a good status again with little difficulty and effort.

We thank You, Lord, for Your interventions every time we pray, whether for a person, a situation, a pet. We are so grateful that You care for us in every way, and that You care for everything we care for, knowing our hearts and minds. We trust You always, and only You, for You created us and You know us better than we know ourselves.

We lift up every request on this prayer thread and among the prayer warriors here, written or silent, and we thank You in advance for your answers, which are always right, whether we think so at the time or not.

For those struggling with so much, Lord, we pray their burdens be eased and their comfort increased.

Father, again I would just ask your hand on the sweet dog, and the dog's person, for comfort, for healing, for safety.

All these things we pray with a rejoicing, thankful attitude, in the Mighty and Eternal Name of Jesus the Christ, Amen

I heard these today and they made me think...

Luke 22:42 Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.


I want to share something I have learned about prayer. I started examining my prayers . I would ask what I wanted and at the end say” nevertheless thy will be done ,”many times they where not being heard.

I would get frustrated and am so thankful the Holy Spirit intercedes for us. I started praying different ,not asking for what I wanted , but saying I am not my own, I am yours , what do You want , help me do it with out crying , whining or grumbling.
This has changed my life , maybe you already do this and that is great. To really want God's will is not as easy as we make it. His will as with Luke 22:42 will not look like ours most of the time. If you have not been doing this , pay attention to what you are asking , then take self out. Claim who you are before you even pray and then ask Him what He wants...

Thank you all for the prayers. He has Immune-mediated hemolytic anemia and is on his way to a local animal hospital. Please keep him in your prayers. This boy belongs to my grand-daughters and they will be heart broken if something happens to him.

Another very wise thing to remember regarding prayer - some years ago life was going tough. Not the worst I have ever experienced, by far, but not easy. Had a landlord sneaking in every time I left, all kinds of things and situations and people.

A dear Christian friend with an online ministry and I corresponded almost daily about everything and anything. I shared with her what was going on, that things were just not working well and I was troubled.

She suggested I ask God to change me. Not change the situation, not change the people, change ME. Of course you know my first thoughts - I'm not the problem - this one is doing this and that one is doing the other thing, and so on. I gave this a lot of thought, because I have great respect for this sister in Christ, and took her very seriously.

Okay, I decided, let's do that. So I began to ask God to change me. I meant it most sincerely. If anything in me is displeasing to You, Lord, if I am approaching things from the wrong heading, please, change me.

Do you know, once He began to do that, I fell in love with the results!! To this day I ask Him regularly to change me, because His changes are amazing. Things I did not know to ask to be changed, He changed and I cherish the results.

I would offer this suggestion to anyone here who is troubled. I don't know your situations, of course, but if something is going hard with you - the neighbors are a pain, your church doesn't do as you think it should, the boss or workmates are difficult, ask God to change you.

If you choose to do this, and see results, I'd love for you to share it, whether in the thread or in pm. I hope you find the journey as exciting as I have and do. It's hard to believe some of these changes - LOL - makes me so happy - now I want Him to change me faster and faster! More, Lord, more! You'll be a new person in Christ in ways you'd never have thought.

Oh dear. The poor baby! Did the doctor give an outlook for the little guy?

Father God, thank You for giving diagnostic wisdom to the veterinarian who was able to recognize the problem. Now we ask for treatment wisdom, to restore the pupper to health, to restore him to the loving arms of the little girls in a healthy way that blesses everyone involved. We give You the glory for this intervention! In Jesus' Name, Amen

Grant me the wisdom to learn your Word and understand the preacher's teachings tonight. Let a lot of people get blessed from the pastor's words and keep everybody safe. May your light show through and Thank You for your love for my family and myself.

He is getting a transfusion tonight because his blood count is too low. If that works he will need medication treatment the rest of his life. Poor boy is only a little over 5 years old. Thank you Pooka. I am praying for a miracle.

An update on my brother. It was his blood sugar, it went up to 619. They gave him IVs and insulin and referred him to his doctor. He has not been able to get a call back from them but he stayed home today.

Sounds like we need to pray for your brother to control his diet according to the medical advice he has received. That would be very tough - I've said more than once that I am glad, if I had to have a serious illness, that it is lupus and not diabetes. Must be very tough to change so many habits. God bless him, and help him eat what is recommended and to avoid all the foods that got him in trouble. Help him to understand he will lose eyes, kidneys, legs, his life, if he does not comply, Lord, and give him strength, patience, and willingness to do it all. Thank You, Jesus.

Negie, you are in for such a delightful experience! You will be surprised at the things He changes, and some of them will be things you thought would never change, would be a part of you always. Suddenly you will see things differently, have a different willingness to do the oddest things, and be so happy about it!
