As for the cancer, the doctor told my brother that some of the side effects of the treatment might be permanent.The doctor said to give it time.

For the broken elbow from when my brother fell off the ladder, the elbow is healing nicely, but my brother also injured his shoulder when he fell. He has fluid around the bone. He received a shot and has to have physical therapy for the shoulder, and go back to the doctor in 3 weeks.

This family needs prayers! The lady lost her dad, her little daughter is dying of brain cancer and she came home just in time to take her cat to the vet who was found to be with cancer....had to be put down ...

The photos are screenshots from the FB post I received...please pray Amy and little Julia...I don't then, it was shared to me in appeal for prayer.

Ugh, Nef's CT scan results came in online. On top of the heart situation, I think we have another serious situation on our hands.

This is going to sound dramatic, but trust that I did a lot of research before suggesting this...I truly think he may have lung cancer.

Results (partially)...

QUANTITATIVE CALCIUM SCORE EXAM

The total calcium score is: 985.5

Distribution is 1.08 in LMA, 464.21 in LAD, 12.06 in LCX and 508.15 in RCA Territory.

Based on large population studies, calcium scores are statistically associated with the following risks:

0: No identifiable plaque. Risk of CAD = <5%
1-10: Minimal identifiable plaque. Risk of CAD = <10%
11-100: At least mild atherosclerotic plaque. Mild CA stenosis likely
101-400: At least moderate plaque. Mild CAD highly likely, significant stenosis is possible.
>400: Extensive plaque. High likelihood of at least one significant CA stenosis.


EXTRA CARDIAC ANATOMY / FINDINGS

ALL OF THIS IS BAD!!!!

Moderate fibrotic upper lung predominant centrilobular and paraseptal emphysema.

Calcified pulmonary granuloma.

6-7 mm pulmonary nodule right upper lobe image 73 series 601.

1.7 cm low right paratracheal lymph node.

1.5 cm right hilar lymph node.

Partially calcified 1.2 cm AP window lymph node.

Ill-defined soft tissue density in the anterior mediastinum may reflect thymic hyperplasia/reactivation.

IMPRESSION:

1. Marked coronary artery calcification with calcium score 985.5 and areas of known stenosis versus occlusion in the LAD and right circumflex artery as above.

2. Normal left ventricular systolic function with ejection fraction 65% and no focal wall motion abnormality.

3. Moderate fibrotic upper lung predominant centrilobular paraseptal emphysema.

4. 6-7 mm pulmonary nodule right upper lobe and several enlarged mediastinal and right hilar lymph nodes. Pulmonary consultation advised to determine direction of further assessment.

5. Moderate left atrial enlargement.

This really doesn't look good and I am truly worried far more now than before.
