I am so scared of the news we will be receiving. His thoracic surgeon thinks it's best to schedule the pulmonary consultation prior to discussing further options with his heart. That alone confirms my fears. His lungs have taken precedence over a major heart complication.

This really isn't looking good my friends. Please continue to keep us in your prayers.

Since you mentioned thoracic surgeon, I take it that they are considering surgery. This is pretty normal that they would do this. You have to clear anything that looks like it could be a problem before considering surgery. It's even on the test report you posted that they suggest pulmonary consultation first.
They can't do a surgery without making sure that the lungs are not going to be a problem and it will give them direction on how to proceed.

I am not saying that they may not find anything, but take it one step at a time.

Keeping you and your husband in my prayers.

The scope will cause grogginess. Did they do the scope because they suspect GI Bleeding?

She was complaining about her throat bothering her, but they found nothing wrong. I suspect her dehydration is the problem.

The first part of Isaiah reminds us we do not want to be a people in that chapter 1. I have done things wrong my whole life. I have lost people , places and things my whole life. I have got things backwards my whole life. I have had people get mad at me and I never hear from them again...
To ever provoke the Lord to where we could not feel His presence, is the most terrifying thing we can feel.
I have been allowed to feel, what that feels like, there is nothing or no one in this world worth forsaken the Lord. He has in the past and until Jesus returns will remove His hand when we provoke Him to anger. A soft teaching has said something else. We can not keep repeating offenses without chastening.
Jesus is very clear what our life is suppose to look like if we choose to follow Him. He repeats it over and over. To be a follower of Jesus is a radical change from our past. Nothing about following Him looks normal. We can not keep any part of our past teachings , ways or things before we where called.
Not having God as our protection and love is worse than the most horrible thing we can imagine. King David spoke of this often.

Hebrews 13: Let brotherly love continue. 2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. 3Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body. 4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge. 5Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.


That “never leave or forsake thee ,”comes with commands. I have had my heart broke so many times by humans , I thought I would die. When I felt separated from God ,that was worse than all those times together.
Please do not take your relationship with Him lightly...

“Luke 10:27And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.”

This is not as easy as the world has made it...We are in perilous times and choices are going to have to be made. Never choose the world...

Mother Update:

She seems to be slightly weaker today. We do not know when she will get out of the hospital. They will not release her until she can stand on her own 2 feet. They are supposed to start some physical therapy to get her up and moving.

My husband and I went to the hospital to see her after I left the dentist, which is only 2 blocks from the hospital. My brother Kenny was there.My mother kicked us out when her lunch came, as she didn't want anyone to see her eat !

My mouth is bothering me a little. I had 1 big filling and 2 smaller ones done today. I got to go back next month and get 2 more fixed.:( YIKES !!!

Sorry to know your mom is weaker, but so much muscle tone is lost quickly when in bed - takes no time at all to feel weak. Good that she will have therapy for this.

Is it normal for her not to want anyone watch her eat? I wonder if she is having swallowing problems, especially after the endoscope - her throat may be sore.

Sorry to hear about your dental discomfort - but think how good it is to be getting those things fixed!

My mother says it is because of her teeth. She had no problem with anyone being in the room previously when she ate, so, OH Well.

As for my teeth, I only have 11 left, and 5 of them needed work. 3 down, 2 to go, YEESH !!!

More Mother Update:

My youngest daughter just got back from the hospital to visit with my mother. It appears my mother is in a confused state again. She thinks she is home and not in the hospital. Told my daughter to go look in the fridge for snacks, saying she has to lock the door, etc.
I will go back up tomorrow, but I need to stay home and rest this evening, as my lower jaw feels like someone was working on it with a jackhammer. :(
