This has been a rough day, my friends. My mother passed away at 1:50pm central time this afternoon. I got the call from the Rehab place, but she was already gone.
Per my mothers wishes, direct cremation, no services, no wake.
She would have been 96 this coming sunday.

My middle daughter Elizabeth,who was my mothers favorite grandchild, and my nephew Matthew, helped the funeral home employee load my mothers body onto the gurney for the funeral home.
My oldest daughter Mary K, who was a part time care giver for my mother, is very disraught.
My youngest daughter, Alexandra, is in shock.
I told my daughters yesterday to be prepared to get a call at any time, but this was quicker than I thought it would be.

My 2 vulture brothers are flying in wednesday. I am sure my mothers house will be picked clean, but I do not care.

I did everything I could, and there was no more that I could have done for her, in any way.
