I hope he held his hand under cold water or placed it in ice water immediately to remove the heat. Burns will keep burning and butter on a burn is an old wives tale.

I pray he heals well.

Oh no, that is so painful. Praying for healing for John and for God to numb the pain.

I did want to give you guys an update real quick. Sorry I had been at the hospital constantly Friday and yesterday. My daughter did get released yesterday around 5:00. We dropped her prescriptions off at the pharmacy and came home for a few minutes to visit with the kitties and then had to run back to the pharmacy to pick up her prescriptions before they closed at 6:00. We came back and she got a good visit with the kitties, we got her glasses fixed up as good as we could to be worn without the arm that would sit on her injured ear, had a nice visit, stopped and got her some Sonic, and then dropped her off at her dad's. We'll be headed over there in a little bit to get a good visit.

I probably will go ahead and stop with regular updating now that she is out of the hospital and out of the woods. You guys have just been so absolutely wonderful and my rock to help me with this.

Thank you all so much for prayers.. John is an EMT, and I knew he would let me know how bad it was. It will take a while to heal. His thumb and palm got it the worst, and his fingers look like little sausages.. He's mad that it prevents him from helping others for a while.

Dear Heavenly Father , You are Holy and have called us to be Holy, we ask that all things You are revealing right now, that those You call hear and see all You want them to , we call on ” Mark 13:22 For false christs and false prophets shall rise, and shall shew signs and wonders, to seduce, if it were possible, even the elect,” and ask Your elect not be seduced , show the lies from truth and help us follow You and not humans or things not of You, You are showing us it is a time to run , help us run away from lies and Your truth , help us understand why Jesus preached “Luke 12 :53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law, “ help us fix our eyes on You and know and understand Your warnings , Your signs and not those of false leaders , We need You now Lord , gather us together in a way that glorifies Your name , do not let us follow the blind and to not be pulled into any ditch , give us Your wisdom and strength to do what is needed in days ahead and help us with hard decision to make in Jesus Name Amen, , ,

Hello faithful prayer warriors, I want to thank you for all you do here. I apologize beforehand because I know this will be long, but it's been awhile and so so much has happened. I requested prayer for several things going back to 2016. I have some crazy awesome testimonies of how the Lord has been working in my life and my family's lives since then. They are truly miraculous and unbelievable, especially to our friends and family who know what we have from from, to be where we are at this very day. Thank Jesus for his grace and mercy.

The most important thing I asked prayer for was salvation for my husband. I am beyond happy to tell you all that as of March 2018 the Lord answered my prayer of saving my husband and giving him a new heart for the things of God. My husband said he would never go to church, never be a Christian, he had never even read the Bible. He hated Christians for the most part due to a lot of hypocrites we see involved in churches that do not obey James 1:22. He has gone from growing weed in our bedroom to attending church every Sunday as well as serving in church. There is a lot (a whole LOT) to his testimony as well as mine so far, but I'm trying to make this as short as possible!

The Lord led us to a great Bible teaching/following church which was another answer to prayer! Another testimony goes with that too! Now we are both serving together in Sunday school teaching the small children there. We were all baptized together (me, him, and our two kids) this past July. His mom and stepdad also were baptized that same day and rededicated their life to again following Jesus! That also just so happened to be the day we were teaching on Lydia and how her and all her house were saved, how awesome is that?! Also, my husbands cousin and her family started attending church with us as well and they were all baptized this past December!

God is so good, I could've never dreamed or imagined any of this that has happened this past year. Our whole lives have completely changed. I was at the point where I thought God didn't hear me. I thought nothing would change, thought my husband would never ever change. I thought I was stuck and there was no hope of things moving towards serving the Lord with my whole family. But God did hear me. And even though He didn't answer when I wanted Him to, He answered me this past year in so many amazing ways that I am forever grateful for!!!!

All glory to God in what He has done for us. Even though we have no clue what we are doing or how to be Christians, He is mecrciful and is teaching us daily. We don't know how to stay on a disciplined Bible reading schedule, but we try and always start where we left off. We don't know how to pray together like I know we should. We didn't even know any of the worship songs when we started attending church. But He is showing us and continues to teach us and Holy Spirit convicts us when things need to be done or changed.

I just wanted to give you a condensed version of what Jesus has done for us so far, and ask you pray for us that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus-Phil. 1:6 I also need prayer for the strength and mercy to continue in my journey of quitting cigarettes. Prayer for my husband to be blessed and for him to be the spiritual leader of our house. Prayer that when the Lord speaks, we hear Him and obey. And prayer that the Lord helps us guide our children in His ways.

Even though I can't always post, I pray and will continue praying for you all here. You have no clue how much this thread, the teachings, the fellowship, and the pure love that is manifest here has helped me.Thank God for you all. May His blessing and grace be abundant in you and His will be done in all your lives, in Jesus name amen.

It is horrible what's happening to God's faithful, and innocent children...

He told us about evil and what will happen:

Matthew 13:36-43
36 Then he left the crowd and went into the house. His disciples came to him and said, “Explain to us the parable of the weeds in the field.” 37 He answered, “The one who sowed the good seed is the Son of Man. 38 The field is the world, and the good seed stands for the people of the kingdom. The weeds are the people of the evil one, 39 and the enemy who sows them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the harvesters are angels. 40 “As the weeds are pulled up and burned in the fire, so it will be at the end of the age. 41 The Son of Man will send out his angels, and they will weed out of his kingdom everything that causes sin and all who do evil. 42 They will throw them into the blazing furnace, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. 43 Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Whoever has ears, let them hear.


I am rejoicing in faith as He tells us this evil will continue and overtake the world and will all happen just before He returns!!!

And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold. (Matthew 24:12)

Hey everyone, unfortunately, I am back to needing prayers again for my daughter. She had her first appointment this morning with her brachial plexus expert and we got some bad news. He reviewed the findings of the MRI taken at Wesley at it now appears that there is a severed nerve in her shoulder as well.

She has no ability to use the shoulder and we had just thought it was the swelling/brachial plexus nerve issues causing problems with the shoulder.

She is scheduled for surgery at 11:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. At this time he just doesn't know what kind of function could be returned to the shoulder area until he gets in and takes look. The plan is to take a nerve from her leg and transplant it to the shoulder nerve. He is speaking with the plastic surgeon today to see if he can complete the ear reconstruction tomorrow morning while she is under for the shoulder. She has her appointment with him this afternoon and we should know more about the ear then. She will be in the hospital for a minimum of 1 day following surgery. Hopefully, that will be all.

With regard to the brachial plexus injury that is causing the issues with the lower arm/hand, he does believe she may very well have full return of function to the hand after 9 months to a year of physical therapy. He does think her hand progress since surgery has been a good indicator.

She was pretty inconsolable after the appointment this morning.

Prayers needed for my son... He got a really bad burn on his right hand... cooking accident he reached in to pull out a pan from what he thought was a cold oven, but it wasn't. It burnt him real bad.

Please pray for John.

Seems a bad time for a lot of people. I answered the first one I saw and didn't realise so many people were hurting,or I would have put them all in one post.

Prayers needed for my great-niece. Our 3 month old little angel has a hemangioma on her chest that keeps increasing in size and possibly affecting her internal organs. She is under the care of two different doctors but the treatments being considered are dangerous.
