What is the key of David and what does it symbolize?

The key of David appears only twice in the Bible. The first time it appears is in Revelation where it states, "To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write . . . who holds the KEY OF DAVID" (Revelation 3:7). The speaker is the resurrected Jesus, whom John sees in a vision, and the message is to the church at Philadelphia. The possession of this key by Christ is used as proof that the Being addressing the church is God, "the Holy One, the One Who is true."

The second occurence of the key of David is in the book of Isaiah the prophet where it states, "And the key of the house of David will I lay upon his shoulder (Eliakim as an allusion or type of Christ); so he shall open, and none shall shut; and he shall shut, and none shall open" (Isaiah 22:22, KJV). Holy Spirit reveal the connection, understanding, revelation of how the key of David relates to the tabernacle of David, so they both manifest according to Your perfect will amen,

Of course, I am not perfect but yes I try my best to adhere to them.

We are not saved by the law they could not keep it and we can not. We are to love the law and try and obey the 10 commandments.

When we love God with all our hearts and have the Holy Spirit it is easier.

If you on purpose break after having received the knowledge it says this
Hebrews 10
26For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

And this is why repentance is more than a one time thing.



The Father constantly told the prophets to tell the people to repent.

John the Baptist told folks to repent.

The very first teaching by Jesus was....."Repent, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand".

Thank you so very much for your thoughts. She is still in quite a bit of pain and has begun to start dealing with the emotional/psychological aspects of everything. She has her first follow-up with the orthopedic surgeon next Thursday for the shoulder/wrist surgery. She is really struggling with the news that she will only have a 65%-70% return of function to her shoulder even after the surgery performed. Next Wednesday she has the protection from abuse hearing and she is very anxious about that because she is worried that he will be there in attendance. I don't think he will be because of his mental state, but you never know.

Tuesday she met with the DA and that had her pretty down knowing that he will only face a maximum of 17 1/2 years for his crimes under Kansas law. We do know that his lawyers are seeking an insanity defense. That was a pretty rough day for her emotionally.

It's just hard for me at times because I just don't know what to say to her. It's just so hard because no parent wants to see their child hurting so badly physically and emotionally/psychologically.

From Joel to Peter ,God makes very clear Who He is and how He speaks...The last days clock started in Acts. In Joel they are told to tell generation after generation Who makes the earth shake, Who turns the sun dark and why we have pillars of smoke. All of those wonders was to remind us of “the terrible day of the Lord.”
We live like the days of Noah ,just like Jesus said we would and warned us not to. We live in a time if nature delays what we want , we make our own sun. We live in a time we control our time and environments. Joel was written long ago and Acts was written long ago but they looked for that great “terrible day of the Lord,” even then.
That remnant the Lord called never stopped teaching and preaching the truth and was waiting. We do not like pain and suffering , we do not like not being comfortable and we do not like not being in charge.
Jesus , Joel and Peter are just a few that told us just how bad it will get before Jesus returns. We will not be in charge and we can not stop it. God has always shown people from Genesis to today what He does when we do not listen and make this life about us.
We should have prepared each generation to face “ signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapour of smoke.” Jesus said we would not. For those that see “terrible day of the Lord ,” as the Promise and hope of better things to come, be ready to comfort those that did not...

Loved Ones , no know knows what God will do but He is mad and it may get really loud... Look at today's word and just know if we see fearful things why...love yall

Dear Heavenly Father , we thank You for what You have done and will do, we ask for healing of body, soul and Spirit and let forgiveness be part of that, we ask justice be served and she never have to face this demon again in Jesus name amen
