Luke 21: 21 Then let them which are in Judaea flee to the mountains; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto. 22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled. 23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled.

I have never thought much about this verse till today but it is heavy on my mind. I have Irish ancestors that came over on boats to America long ago, I have Cherokee blood as well.
Jesus tells us there comes a time of fleeing and do not look back. America is not in Scriptures many have shared there thoughts on why but we were mentioned as part of the all nations.
“Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.”

We claim to be a proud Nation , a word we never wanted to known by.
“James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.”
There are people all around the world right now fleeing. Many are fleeing hunger , war or violence . All searching for a better life, like my ancestors from Ireland long ago. I pray at each border that they are fleeing to , there are people of God. Telling them of the hope of better things to come. Jesus tells us one day there will be no place to flee and do what the rest of Luke 21 tells us.

“Luke 21:26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

Know the order of events in Luke 21 , there is not time given just a list of events. Be ready to share with those fleeing verses , “27 And then shall they see the Son of man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.”

Where is America in the line of events , who knows but to know the One that does , is why Jesus went to the Cross...Earth has not had peace in a long time, it has only got worse, but we were told this would happen.
