Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

Luv and hugs for you. You sound like my son did and in some ways still does. He came out of the new age / occult because he was shown what hell was like. It is a long story that I do not want to get into on this thread, but you can PM me if you need anything. I will keep you in my prayers and asking for God to send you a personal revelation through his Holy Spirit, through Jesus or angelic intervention.

That is awesome and the way our Father works.

Just a small testimony to add to this, but a while back I posted about my pregnant niece who had the west nile virus. While praying for her, I was impressed upon by the Lord to order a bible verse blanket on Amazon and my whole family prayed over the order and sent it to her in Virginia. We did not even lay hands on it but prayed over it and the next day after she received it she miraculously improved. Today she has a healthy baby girl and is doing fine.

God is good.

Why do you need to know "why am I here"?
Why can't you accept that you "just are"?

Technically, the "law" wasn't changed. We still have to obey the 10 Commandments. Don't bother thinking about the 600 others the Father gave the Hebrews. They were designed to keep them on the straight and narrow.

And...the Father had prophets tell people to repent.
It was also the key to Jesus' teachings.

Yet what kept happening? They would start worshipping idols and get punished. They couldn't even keep the 10.

Adam and Eve couldn't even obey ONE commandment.

The Father got fed up with them and sent His Son as a "last warning".



Simple Daily Faith & Living

Thank the Father for sending His Son to us
Thank Jesus for doing the Father's Will
Repent to God the Father for your sins
Give thanks for daily blessings...regardless of how simple / "ordinary" they may seem
Love others and forgive them as necessary
Pray for others and help them if possible
Read the Bible and ask Jesus or the Father for guidance concerning it
Pray / ask the Father to show HIS WILL for you to do
Share your "testimonies" of what God and Jesus have done for you
Trust in the Father and the Son fully

Our entire existence is to take up our cross daily and not lose our souls. The world makes all kinds of offers ,God's plan in that is hard for many to see.
Take time and think about all we do to keep things out of our homes and business that we do not want in. Most every business has those black rodent boxes to keep rats and mice away. We have fences to keep out what we do not want and in what we do want. We do all kinds of man made things to protect our homes and business. God has His own fences and pest traps and we never wanted to have anything in our souls that would cause us to lose it.
Jesus explains it will be a daily struggle , I for one can testify of that. There were two things we were to protect more than anything on earth and that is the name of Jesus and the gospel. satan offered Jesus all the kingdoms on earth if He would worship him.
God set up a system that would remind us of our sin and humans have bypassed that system and created our own, like rodent bait boxes. Weeds , pestilence , storms and famine are just a few. We made chemicals to kill weeds , traps to kill pest, shelters for storms and seed clouds or other things to not have a famine.
When we bypass God's system to keep things out and create our own something different happens. The pest , weeds , storms and famines may not reach our property but things reach our souls.

“Genesis 3:18 Thorns also and thistles shall it bring forth to thee; and thou shalt eat the herb of the field; 19 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread, till thou return unto the ground; for out of it wast thou taken: for dust thou art, and unto dust shalt thou return.”
We do not like to sweat much less get rid of thorns and thistles by hand. God wanted it that way to remind us Who He is vs who we are and what we were made for.
God made nature in a way to take care of nature , like cats to eat mice. Rain to not have droughts that cause famine. Man took all these things out of God's hands and bypassed His system that was to remind us of Who is really in charge. Everything man created to bypass His system has killed the planet. Those bait boxes are made of plastic, that is made from oil and chemicals. The poison they use is toxic.

People get very upset when their cars do not get them where they want or if a plane is late. Can you imagine what our lives would be like if we only walked or had horses. We have grown so dependent on man made things we only need God when they break down or something goes wrong. We have grown so dependent on man made things we would not know how to communicate without our cell phones or computers.
Nothing man made or that we depend on outside of God is going to leave earth. Only people that leave all they have and go build off grid want to go backwards, or is it backwards???
Jesus told us that is what we have to do.
“John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”

How on earth do we do this, in a man made world full of easier ways to live. We will all have to ask the Lord for direction in this. My great grandparents did things by hand and did not have the things we have now , that kill and then keep on killing like toxins. I have found it hard knowing and understanding what satan help us create to live by and what to do. Cell phones , computers and many man made things can be used for the Lord.

When a cell phone is such an obsession it takes lives then it is time to fast that obsession. When a computer is used to harm others and not help the gospel , it is time to fast that addiction . When a car is only used for personal use and not for the Lord might be time to walk or give away. When we know a chemical is harmful it is time to stop using it period. When we do things that are bad to make more money , might be time to change direction. It is a time to today to reflect and see what we are doing and using and how it is being used...

Pull a weed by hand , go sweat today , give a homeless cat a home , help a homeless person if you have empty space, give your car this week for the Lord's work. Do not trade or have money with places or countries that say No to Jesus and the gospel ...Jesus , the gospel and our souls is all that matters...

Well I'm off to see the wife, I got some much needed rest, going to take my oil and pray blanket and pray over her.

Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.


Powerful verse, I can not count the times I have disobeyed God and thankful for what God allowed on the Cross and what Jesus did for us. We can all look back at our disobedience and see it came with a price. The Cross came with a big price so why would we get off scot free.

“Hebrews 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.”

Few people really like to be chastened and even harder is to be thankful when we do. If you know me then you know I deal with Huntington's Disease daily. Unless you have dealt with it you can not relate to it. I want to share what has taken 30 years to learn that works. Most of us deal with something and to fight back or go under radar and ignore are two extremes to deal with something.

The next time you experience the ugliness or anger of a person be silent and repeat these words, “thank Lord for reminding me of my disobedience.” It will not be easy the first time but everything changes. We live in a confrontational world so if it is home, work or in public , go silent and thank the Lord for what you are facing.
If we believe in God then we know nothing comes at us without He allows it. I know why I face my struggles and when we take our eyes off of the other person and fix them on the Lord things change.

satan does not want us to even try this because he knows he is about to lose a fight. Thanking the Lord for good things is easy. Try it when this life throws you bad things is a whole new level of faith.

“1 Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
