Daily Prayer Thread !!!Plus The Word

I would very much appreciate some prayers and good vibes sent my way. Much is personal so I don’t want to be specific. Some financial. I need to move by months end and that is also not working out for me. This year and especially these last few months have been extremely difficult. Feel like I have a black cloud over my head with no end in sight. I’m usually very happy go lucky but lately I feel I can’t get a break to even breathe.

Not good overall...

The right upper lobe pulmonary nodule is stable as of now which is good. Radiologist says it hasn’t grown, however the pulmonologist (and myself) thought it looked bigger than the previous scan. And we've only been given a range both times, no exact measurements so it may have in fact grown slightly but not of concern (to them). In addition to that one nodule we've been concerned about, there are now multiple additional smaller nodules, bilateral lungs, seen. :\

Lymph nodes still enlarged which indicates they aren’t enlarged due to an infection. Not good. One of the enlarged lymph nodes previously wasn't of concern because it's calcified. However now we know this one has stippled calcification. Really not good and associated with malignancy. Soft tissue is also seen in the anterior mediastinum, which is generally associated with lymphoma or malignant thymoma.

Moderate emphysema.

Congestive change. Not good.

Marked coronary artery calcification.

Partially visualized exophytic upper pole renal cortical lesions. He'll need an ultrasound scheduled to further evaluate these as these could be malignant. The "exophytic" wording isn't good.

Mild fatty changes of the pancreas. This man doesn't drink, so this is also not a good sign.

Will have a repeat chest CT scan in 6 months. Will have a kidney ultrasound done sooner to check on those lesions.

None of this is good news. : (

Prayers said for all...

If you feel led, please lift up my Mom in prayer as she moves through the grief of losing my Dad. She's been full time caretaker for years, a job that was 24-7, and now she will be in a space where she suddenly has a lot of time.

And please pray a little prayer for me, too as I try to get through the bureaucracy surrounding payments switching to my Mom and teaching her to use a smart phone to save about $200 a month.

Someone that I cared for went to Heaven this weekend. Our Spirits connected even though we did not see each other much, there was a bond through Jesus Christ.

“Luke 9:60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. “

They and we a are people all about weddings and funerals, so that verse can seem harsh. They were in a a village of Samaritans. We have no record where a funeral took place for Jesus. Jesus showed us living as Christ and then dying is life not death.

“Luke 7: 12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her. 13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not. 14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto thee, Arise. 15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother. 16 And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet is risen up among us; and, That God hath visited his people.”

There is no greater story about death than the friend of Jesus than in John 11.

“John 11:6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was. 11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. 33When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Je.. also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, and was troubled. 34 And said, Where have ye laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see. 35 Jesus wept. 36 Then said the Je.., Behold how he loved him!”


Even though they knew Jesus they did not get death and it saddened Him. While we feel sadness when we a loved one departs from earth, it is a temporary separation. Bury and funeral have little mention after Jesus came. A funeral in our culture makes everything about the person ,when everything was about Jesus. I want no mention of me at mine , I want only people to remember John 11 and so would June. We can not even breathe today without the power of God.
“Luke 8:46 And Jesus said, Somebody hath touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.”
In memory of sweet June and she would tell us all “but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. “

Please keep Sandy/Silver Patriot in your prayers. She is having the port for the chemo surgically implanted today, and will start the chemo tomorrow.

Right, GFG. We all know that, and fully believe as well. Yet we are still human, and when you've been married to someone for over 60 years, there's a huge shift.

In my opinion, she is actually doing very well, but now that all the people have left, and the funeral is over, it may hit her a little harder at times. She is an amazing woman, with superior faith and perseverance.

I'd really love for my youngest to get the opportunity to be around her more and get to know her grandma better as a young teen. My Dad was in very bad health for a decade, and the past 4 years have been really difficult.

There was so much in this entire last month of my Dad. I am not finished processing the things I need to process. It's just going to take time.

No one is struck down with grief, we are just moving through the process, and thankful that Dad isn't in pain any longer and is indeed resting in peace.

Praying for Sandy today.

Dear Heavenly Father , no matter what man says You have final say and if You want these to to do something in all this reveal to them to glorify Your name , guide , lead and direct , we ask for healing of body, soul and Spirit and the enemy have no power , give Simple the faith and strength to face the days ahead in Jesus name amen
