Renal Masses: Overview

The scheme used on this website is to divide masses by cystic vs. solid, although many other characteristics are involved in determining the true nature of a renal mass. An important differentiation is an exophytic, “ball-shaped” mass vs. an infiltrating process which maintains the kidney’s “bean-shape”. A mass that appears ball shaped grows by expansion and compresses, rather than invades, objects around it. This leads to deformation of surrounding structures. These are more easily detected radiographicly and commonly represent simple cysts, renal cell carcinoma, angiomyolipoma, abscesses, or metastases.

He has multiple of these "exophytic" renal lesions. Please pray that all of them are simple cysts. It would be a true miracle if that is the case. Unfortunately I suspect the latter with everything else considered.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

We only have to read Jeremiah 16 to understand why Solomon wrote Proverbs 1. Jesus tells us the same thing.

“Luke 12:5 But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.”

We only have to read the headlines daily to see we are a people that has forgot Who we play around with.
We only have to look at the priorities of nations to see we forgot Who is really in charge.

“Jeremiah 16: 10 And it shall come to pass, when thou shalt shew this people all these words, and they shall say unto thee, Wherefore hath the Lord pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the Lord our God? 11 Then shalt thou say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, saith the Lord, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;
12 And ye have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, ye walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me.”

They were told and every generation till now was to be reminded of the God in Jeremiah 16.
We only have to look at our priorities to see we went after other gods and have forsaken the Lord.
“Jeremiah 16:18 And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things. 19 O Lord, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto thee from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.”

Have we defiled His land , yes we have worse than those in Jeremiah. Does God still get angry , yes He does. Jesus Christ is our mediator today. Jesus Christ paid a heavy price for us to be able to repent and be forgiven. Until He returns we are being called to get on that narrow path , be Daniels in a time of bad rulers and be blameless...
“2 Peter 3:14 Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of Him in peace, without spot, and blameless.”

Dear Heavenly Father , we lift this up to You and as Simple as may they only be cyst to the glory of Your name , no matter the outcome hold these two and let the enemy have no power , help them draw from Your strength and courage , help them draw from Psalm 31:24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord, "
