She is doing as well as can be expected. We found out today that she will need another surgery on her ear with the plastic surgeon to further return it to a normal looking ear.

She is really struggling now mentally with everything and she doesn't really have too much use of her arm and hand yet. She is incredibly frustrated with her physical limitations and just wants her old life back. She is struggling with losing her love and still having feelings for him. They were talking marriage, buying a house, and children before this all happened.

We are certain now that mental health issues came to play in the stabbing, but do not have much information on exactly what type of mental health issue, i.e. the diagnosis.

Prayers for her are always greatly appreciated as it weighs heavily on my heart that she struggles so much with this, both physically and mentally/psychologically.

I too am struggling with things as well. I'm not sure if I held my feelings back to be strong for her and it is now coming back to haunt me or if it's some sort of PTSD type of thing. I can't handle any stress well whatsoever and have overwhelming thoughts of losing her and the rest of my loved ones now.

I'm just so sorry for what you and your significant other are going through right now what DMJ and his wife are enduring although I am glad to hear she is doing better, Silver Patriot, and Fluffy Pancake and her son.

I know that I generally only use my praying hands on a daily basis, but you all are always in my thoughts and prayers even if I don't personally respond to every request. I just don't want to tie up the thread with a response to every single post.
